We bought this generator on eBay I thought they had said it was new when we got it I saw it was a store return so I checked the ad and that's what they said but it was still new so I made a mistake but for $100 savings we're happy with it after running it it ran great the scratched screen on it I notice that has a plastic protective covering on it so when Judy remove that plastic protective covering the glass might not be scratched
