Solid review, good job! I also have a pair of these and a P3320 hybrid fan. Both models are excellent and versatile, and each has their particular strengths. However, I'd bet you'll get another P3320 when yours wears out. The PCF02s are great but they don't move as much air (naturally, as they have less than 1/3 the swept area) and make a fair amount of noise too. I like the P3320 in the house particularly, as the sound is low enough on "1" to pretty much fade into background white noise. I do enjoy the hybrid nature of my P3320, as I usually use it inside anyway. But if I ever wanted to adapt the PCF02 to be a "hybrid" it should be pretty easy to add a 5.5x2.1mm barrel connector socket, and feed it juice from one of the obsolete 19V laptop DC power adapters I have lying about my crap-crammed, mad-scientist laboratory of a home. 😆😁😅 On the other hand, what's the point, it runs for a loooong time on even a modest battery.

I love the versatility of this little fan. I've been using it on my desk. It is a little loud but if it keeps me cool, the noise doesn't bother me. I would love to see a brushless version of the P3320 with variable speed and a longer runtime.

@@Rickmakes Are you sure it isn't already "brushless?" Aren't most fans actually induction fans? It certainly doesn't arc-and-spark like my brushed drills and saws. I do understand that DC motors usually have to be brushed because there is no magnetic flux introduced without phase-change/commutation/electronic inversion/etc., but I'm certainly no fan engineer. I just know they run smoothly, quietly, and for many years before failing... not terribly consistent with my experiences with known-brushed motors.

If there is more than one person, I would get the larger one.

Yes. This is the best deal for someone who already has some Ryobi tools. They do have a deal right now where you can get two batteries and a charger for $100 and you get a free tool like a drill, saw, light, etc… If you are looking to get into Ryobi tools, that is a good deal.
