I got the dual brush attachment for the stick vac originally had the single pet vac version. I love it, the suction is really good and I recently bought the handheld version with a small beater attachment which works awesome for stairs and on the bed to remove all the dog hair... I just wish Ryobi would have the hair removal built into the vacuum so it doesnt get tangled but that will come eventually

Been watching a lot of vids trying to choose if this is the vac for me... and you are the first to show that the rollers can be turned off.

Had mine for maybe 2 months now. Got a kid, a gsd and a cat. Works well so far. Takes about 3x 4ah battery to do my 1700sq ft house. Mostly lvp with carpet stairs and bedrooms.

Are you saying you need to use 3 batteries to vacuum your house?

Strange I use it to clean a church which like 20k footage and on low I can cover pretty much the whole church with one 4ah battery
@PGX584
@PGX584 Год назад
@@TheSlickguy01cuz it's on low. High which is necessary for cat hair uses way more electricity. I wish it was possible to use it wired when you don't need the convenience of cordless. Current wired stick vacs have short cables, aren't repairable and don't last long.

There's a terrific Ryobi days sale on this product. $199 includes a 6-hour amp hour, 4 amp hour and a 2 amp hour battery and charger and The PBLSV716V Cordless Pet Stick Vac.

a lot of people don't know why Dyson need to pull up the top then the bottom door open,and then need to drop the top and close the bottom door, because it better than just only the bottom door open, Dyson design to pull up the top filter higher first, then door open ,it can release inside dust pressure when it's too full,,dust won't stuck.

The corrugated hose in the head is going to crack just like all of the past ones did... You can tell Ryobi until you're blue in the face but they insist on being ignorant

I hope this ryobi stick vacuum isn’t your first ryobi stick vacuum. I owned 2 of the previous model and I tell you by my experiences, the roller will eventually stop spinning and the bottom hose that’s near the breaking point breaks. I didn’t believe it so I repurchased another one at Home Depot. I swear on everything, the rolling stopped spinning the following day. I decided to pop it open. It looks like each end of the roller is poor designed. They just go bad. I’m a ryobi collector. But their vacuum is a dealbreaker to me. So I’m not sure if I should invest in this new model.

Thanks for the feedback. I have had 2 others. The first one the hose at the end broke. The second is fine. I haven’t had a brush failure on either.

Same same here with loving every one of my Ryobi one collection … except the vacuum. I’ve got the lesser/slightly older model and even after being cleaned it’s vacuum is feeble, the hook on the wall feels like it will snap if not careful, the on/off/hi/low button is awkward, the little twisty head brush seems to always be in the wrong position, the filter and canister can’t get more than a small amount of debris before the feeble sucking becomes non existent, the connections are really clunky and awkward, the handle with switch is not friendly but that’s more about the switch. I have mine in the garage/workshop because I wanted a replaceable battery style so that running out of battery and having to wait is not a concern. In the rest of the house we have 2 Dysons and they are superb pieces of design (yes, they still respond well to a pull apart deep clean) , but wow how much better they work and feel is amazing. Yes they cost more but I’d always prefer to pay double to have something that works rather than waste my money although half of the Dyson, and have something useless. However as I’d still like to have a battery replaceable version I’m still looking, which is why I’m watching these tests of newer models. So this one doesn’t even hang up …. Ryobi seems to miss the mark in the “vacuum design” department

@@wowser2009 Apparently, I purchased Ryobi new 18v vacuum that has the dual roller and I also purchased the single roller. So far, the dual roller performs the same as the single roller. The dual roller model cost $100 more. Paying additional of $100 for the dual roller is not worth it. As far as the overal quality, I think this new model is built better finally. The roller and motor is still operational. The only bad of it is the power button and the handle. The location of the power button is just so happen to be the way, in terms of you will eventually accidentally pressed on it when you don’t want to. When you flip the vacuum over to clean the roller, the power button will turned on itself due to the button engaging with the floor.

Thank you. The 4ah battery was able to do my den and staircase as seen in the video. After the video I did my upstairs; which is all hardwood. Between the den and the upstairs, I did about 1300 square feet (121 sq. Meters), and the stairs on that same battery. When i was done, I still had 1 bar. I took my time as well, trying not to rush. I don’t have a time figure, but that may help you.

We have two Golden Retrievers whose long hair seems to get into the area behind where the brush shaft rotates . Have worn out a couple of non pet cordless vacuum power brushes, despite cleaning them regularly. Do you think the hair will get into an area that cannot be cleaned out ? We do have a cheaper pet cordless vac but it does a poor job. We do have the original Ryobi stick vacuum , plus well over a dozen Ryobi One tools.

On the smaller mini brush attachment, is the clear plastic cover click into different positions?. I had a Ryobi hand vacuum that came with that. But when I would use it to clean carpet. It would never stay in place. Seem to move up and down really easy. Had to put some tape on it keep still.
@planemanx15
@planemanx15 2 года назад
It doesn’t click, it moved around with no detents stopping the motion. This way its always at the correct angle.

@@planemanx15 I don't think it's meant for carpet. More as a handheld option on upholstery.

Every battery works in it. The HP batteries will work better since this vacuum has the HP contacts.

I don’t see why not. The opening before the brushes is fairly large. Check out my channel for a Cheerio test video I just uploaded.
