Not really sure mate as I've not had a problem with mine. Maybe try pressing the treadle a little harder when the switch is in the unlock position. I think the more pressure you use when clamping means you need to add more pressure to disengage when you put it in unlock position. Hope this helps 👍

@@PeterMossUkulele I think it all depends on what you will be using it for. The workmate has a smaller footprint but it can't clamp anything that big so I find i use mine more like a portable table. As for the clamping station it is bigger but it will hold on to much bigger stuff like doors etc and you have the option to make attachments you can clamp in to it. I've also used mine to clamp my mitre saw on it and also my bandsaw. I would say the clamping station is the more useful option but like I say it does take up more space. Hope this helps 👍

Cheers mate. I normally try to use the camera stand more but with bigger items it's hard to show everything without moving the camera around especially in my small area👍

I sound too negative, it has quirks but it is very useful, a perfect companion to a chainsaw.

Yeah im well impressed with it. Im going start making some attachments for it soon to make it even more useful 👍

@@Venomator. yeah looking at the attachments for the other brand I think they would be quite easy to fabricate some up and possibly make other custom stuff for it too. I'm sure I will do a how to video when I get around to making them👍
