I know its late but if you go back far enough to Radiotron 1997 Soul Control vs Abstrak Flava, you can see that Iron Monkey, Ruen and his brother Frankie Flav are all on the same side while they are battling Eric`s crew, Soul Control. At FS4 1999, Eric and Ruen battled on the same side. They all homies.
Interesting. I started bboying in the mid-late 90s, and I remember Ruen, Frankie Flav (They are brothers) also Lil Roc and Caveman were part of LA Breakers in the late 90s through the early 2000s. Though Im aware that LA breakers have beeen around since the early 80s, there was a lot of crew migrating during the period I was bboying.
