This second round from Rhythmind is still to this day one of my favorite loop tracks of all time. The first drop is super clean and upbeat, but god dayum that second hard house drop just absolutely mopped this battle. SO-SO is my boi and I love his goofy ass but I knew this battle was washed as soon as that second round came of from Rhythmind. He had to out EDM SO-SO to have any chance of beating him. Beatness had already lost to him with covers and R&B.
You should react to the battles of the SBX KBB21 loop station. Start with the quarter finals between Mirsa vs KBA 1 and 2. Then continue with the others. This competition was one of the best in pandemic. Greetings 🔥

I think I speak for most of us when I say you should do everything. At this point you have a massive amount of followers that are were not into beatboxing specifically and you're taking them through a journey.
Rythmind had super strong songs (His second round was enough to take it imho) but you can see that So-So kinda front-loaded his best rounds right off the bat (EDIT: Not to say these 2 aren't arguably 2 of his best tracks, I just recognize that they're far more weird/out-there compared to 16 bit, Interview or So-So excercise which are not only strong tracks but amazing crowd pleeasers, that counts for a lot) But well, can't blame the guy if he was going against the defending champ round 1 that's just rough luck. But still you can hear how So-So's sets here are a bit more nuanced without missing out on the insane drops. Also I hope someone comes through or enoug people mention but you *gotta* look at Crew Beatbox videos and well, So-So's crew Sarukani are vice champions and pretty good chances are this year's getting up there in the top 3 at least as well. 9:48 I would love to see that colab but for the next best thing, also on your list should be Sorry: So-So + Rusy as tag team loop category which well...Just watch that it's not a battle just one-off showcases but its one of the best I've seen from both So-So and Rusy.
Begging you to do SBX KBB21 loopstation battle Robin vs KBA is one of the most beautiful and intense battles you can find in the loopscene and you will be amazed with what you see from great artists and the whole competition was so high level
honestly i would love to see everything from like 2016 gbb to now, but i also understand that is a lot😭. So i’m here for any reactions really, but if i had to choose i’d say 2016/2017 gbb solo battles were my favourite and the 7 to smoke as well.
Some of the most forgotten amazing loopstation was done imo by PSn with his Retro and Juliet wildcards. He's an absolute masterclass in looping and even had most loopers wondering what was going on. Good tunes too, worth checking out. edit. they may not be entertaining to react to btw, but they make 2019 looping look dated.
SOSO wasnt expetcting to go that far on the competicion that s why the last few rounds sometimes the sound looks a bit to hight or out of time but the next round is fire

Idk what it is about SoSo but he's probably one of my least favorite loopers. Id say my favorite is Saro followed by Brez. In "my opinion" I think brez is one of the highest underrated loopers there is! There's so many times he should have won and he did not. But that's the way it is we all just have our preferences LOL😊 Cant wait for you to see GBB21! Its like looping was completely reborn into a whole new art form in 2021!
