I love how this is just a highlight of their team's friendship. Edit: A big part of why I love this a lot is simply because of the "bartender" being part of the music video. Dude deserves this happiness.
I think his history with friends who like to sing karaoke goes all the way back... [spoilers below] I wonder if Kashiwagi still remembers Kiryu's and Nishiki singing "Judgment" together like this back in the 80'...
I don't think you even need the quotes. Kashiwagi's face is so unique that everyone who knows the character spots him instantly lol. Wonder how he even stayed underground for years
Funnily, people who started with Yakuza 7 only know him as "bartender". If they decide to play the old games (namely 0, K1, K2 and 3), they will keep referring to him as such. To us older fans, he is Kashiwagi, but to them? Yeah, imagine his first appearance in 0, lmao. "OH, it's the bartender eating noodles!"
Something about Saeko at the piano just playing and singing her heart out with those cinematic music video camera angles just makes my heart warm. It’s inspiring and invigorating.
@@stanleycrowley9333 nigga you forgetting how into toy cars kiryu gets? And defensive of them, too! Or trading card bug ladies rock-paper-scissors? Kiryu would be equally as if not more goofy multiple times. Because that's something you do when you feel comfortable with yourself, only insecure people take themselves seriously all the time. But yes, Ichiban is a manchild. No protest there, it's why people love him.
not gonna lie, I have a feeling she's gonna be my favorite party member (although I'm assuming the whole cast will kill it in terms of likability) also that karaoke was wholesome af, good feels
Damike made a translation of this song. The story is pretty much that her lover left her for someone else. Cinematic shows that she still has friends who care for her. (At least that's my interpretation)
Kuzzeeeeee! (Insert kuze theme here) kiryu fighting kuze with the help of Majima Akiyama and the buds he pulled out from the future using majima's time machine that he built with Akiyama's money after Saejima caved maned him
No i mean Yakuza has good boss battle music. Not sure if GTA series have any boss battle music, but they do have some cool soundtrack if I'm being honest.
@@dolphinboi-playmonsterranc9668 Big Smoke from San Andreas, Lance and Morelli from Vice City, and to an extent Dimitri and Bulgarin from 4 are the only bosses in the series
@@puffpuffpassmako There are bosses, in the last mission of Vice City Stories you fight Martinez and one of the brothers that killed Vic's girlfriend, I'm pretty sure Liberty City ends in a boss fight too. I'm pretty sure there are many more bosses in GTA, but they're mostly just gunfights since...well, GTA is a third person shooter, so there's really no big fist fight in the games.
even if it's a little sad that later party members don't appear in this, making it seem like she never warmed to them like with the first three (i know why, it's because this song is available p much from the start of the song and the video is prerendered), it's such a heartwarming mv
I like how they made the female characters in this game. They made them like normal grown women and not like some weird disgusting "kawai" uWu girls. And Eri is the cute character but still acts normally and believable. I was afraid at first when I saw female main characters but it worked out just perfect man Sega are the best developers with yakuza and persona.
@@may292 "the persona girls act like teenagers" ah yes the normal teens, like rise, a famous idol who immediately for no reason falls in love with the main character and constantly calls him senpai and talks like 6 year old. Or Futaba, the worlds best hacker at like 15 who gets over her anxiety in like 4 days and then just throws out gamer terminology 24/7 to appeal to the audience. They're not just teenagers, and outside of like the first one introduced in the game, they're basically just unflawed date bait who want all love the main character for no reason after like 3 conversations.
Heard full version of this song, I have bad feeling that Saeko won't end up with Ichi. Hope devs never think to make her go to another country or even dead. Just make Ichi live long with full of happiness and love.
Am I the only one who thinks of childhood friends and just wanting to hang out? This game does get the whole friendship thing right with the characters.

@@oneotuvalev9297 Well Japan does love "sound-alike" word puns to an almost distressing degree. Legends of Localization just had an article on number puns or "goro awase" that was really interesting. For example did you know November 4th is Nice Butt Day because 11 and 4 sound like the words for "nice" and "butt"?
Its actually waaay easier (just compare Bakamitai for example). This new song is a bit harder then others because of the speed tho... I hated Otometal in Kiwami 1 because of its speed and combos lol
It's actually much intuitive, it doesnt have those sudden tempo acceleration and deceleration. It is all constant so you can focus of the button promps itself and not worry about the beat and speed of the song. My only wish is that they add an insane mode, same in the Project diva games.
It's actually better now because you can know the exact tempo of each notes. It's consistent. Unlike the older system where you need to know the song first before really getting into the rhythm nicely.
@@mechashadow Well it's like, some of the girls' songs are good but I'd really just prefer to hear the men sing stuff. I guess I'm karaoke-sexist. I'll listen to So Much More (for the Passionate All-Stars Mix) and Loneliness Loop on repeat for ages though.
@@gaminggoddess85 I feel like most of the women's songs are genki cute anime-type songs whereas the men get a wide reach of genres from Bakamitai to Judgement to Devil's pot. Which would translate as way better and more interesting
