I think western devs could learn a thing or two from the Yakuza games. Whenever I see a yakuza villain dynamic intro, it makes me feel intimidated and pumped up to fight the guy. Seeing the name across the screen as the music kicks in while they pose just gives a natural feel that you're not fighting a common enemy, you're fighting someone much stronger and more powerful. With other games with bosses, it's just cutscene and fight. With dynamic intros, it just gives the boss more of an impact

I love the Nishiki one so much cause the way Kiryu has his eyes closed before the fight starts it's like hes saying Goddammit I dont want to do this but I have to. I'm not sure if he would have turned out that way but maybe he was thinking about what nishiki became while he was in prison and how nishiki saved him from killing Shibusawa in 0. Who knows if kiryu would have lost control after that like nishiki did. After being together for so long and watching each others backs one mistake by Nishiki basically sealed his fate. While kiryu was gone he wasn't able to be there for his brother and that was probably tearing him apart during that fight. Once a brother, now an enemy. The Dragon and the Koi. The significance of nishiki's tattoo comes full circle. Everybody in kiwami 1 was always comparing him to kiryu. He was a koi that wanted to become a dragon and failed

Honestly, Kei Ibushi’s will always be my favorite intro to a fight, in the series. Such great choreography, and I just love Majima. Also KONO DIO DA!

In Judgment/Judge Eyes, you can play Kamurocho of the Dead and it appears as an easter egg for Yakuza: Dead Souls but in Rail Shooter style and it is on my top spot on my most played arcade in Club Sega 🎉🎉🎉🎉

When I started playing Yakuza 0, I fell in love with the series, I am playing as of today the finale of Kiwami 1, Can't wait when all the Yakuza games come to Game pass :)

I like how for every game in the series they always made villains stronger than the previous ones, though in my opinion goda (dragon of kansai) is the strongest boss in the whole yakuza franchise. But yeah love the series.
