Ryu Si-o x Tsetseg | Exile | Strong Girl Nam Soon 

I've been watching this drama from Ryu-Sio perspective. He's the show stealer for me but it's not just because of his looks. It's funny how you all just jump to conclusion that just because he's got good looks, we're rooting for him. His good looks are an add on for sure but what made me love his character is his story. I am not justifying about his villainous act, but he did went through a shitty childhood. Abandoned by his parents, had no choice but to kill people when he was just a kid. He realised that he needed power to protect himself. Just a reminder, Ryu Si-o does the business of antidote of the drugs created by Pavel. Then Tsetseg came into his life, like a ball of sunshine. At first, he was just interested in her power but later he did fell for her. The way he looks at her and the way he treats her, he was a green flag to her only ( and a red flag to the rest of the world ). He even trusted her enough to tell her about his whole life. He was so genuine with her and risk it all to only face betrayal in the end. He even cried when he came to know that Tsetseg is Nam Soon and now the they're dirtying his character. I am not sure if I'll watch the last 2 episodes. Moreover, Ryu Si-o opened up to Namsoon. I hoped for some compassion from her behalf but she just turned a deaf ear to him. I hoped that Nam soon will guide him towards the right direction but all she did was to lead him on. I'll have to blame the writers for spoiling these characters. They've ruined the only interesting plot in this show. I've skipped the entire episode just to watch Ryu Si-o scenes and his scenes with Nam soon.

the way his character has more depth than all the other characters in the drama combined

Betrayal is always hurting, regardless to good or bad people. For Ryu-Sio character to open up and trust someone and be a friend to Nam Soon, is a huge efforts for him, but now both of them has to turn against each other. I will blame the writer for a poor story development, if the ending is just to get rid of Ryu-Sio as a criminal.

He was so abused and conditioned as a child, and now the fact he finally felt something for someone, only to be betrayed yet again, is so so sad! 😞

I don't know anything i just want them to end up together. Only she can save him and change him. Petition for them being together

Their chemistry is top of the line. I felt some spark with Heesik, but with Si-oh, it is overflowing! Sad to say there is one more week left.

We can see his light in the darkness (there is a lot of darkness). But she.. he show her his light. But she cant see it. And so i think, she dont save him in the end 😢

its not like i dont like heesik but nam soon and si ohs chemistry is really heart warming it makes me cry!

I know he is villain but.., if he didnt adopt when child by mafias he wouldnt be like that he never loved by anyone he couldnt trust anyone Nam soon was first person he trully loved and trusted i know that was her duty but she nearly learned about everything him why he is like that then how she could betray him like others if i was in her place i couldnt do this i probably try to him fix back him to light 😢

i honestly want a scene of namsoon about feeling guilty for what she have done to him. they portrayed her as a "pure" soul with heavy moral scale right???? so what she is doing to ryu sio is bad as well, and he really did liked and trusted her with everything, and she feels no guilt in exploiting his trust which takes me off on liking her character. and i would be cheering if he will kill anyone important atp bc no one deserves his kindness fr.

This song made me feel more sorry about his character, the moment when he was sleeping while she is there, is portraying betrayal, this has been used before in movies, betrayal of a person in a vulnerable position like sleeping or turning away, and it’s the saddest moment for me, as someone who has not trusted anyone, they way he sleeps when she is there tells how much he trusted her

They really just wasted his whole character development. She really didn't have to lead him on like that to open up and then just to throw away it all, with analytical depth of a gold fish

The chemistry is undeniable. But Ryu-Sio's character has committed so much evil that his abusive past & upbringing will never justify a happy ending with Nam-Soon. But i would have wanted to see more sincerity from Nam-Soon in dealing with Ryu-Sio knowing that he gave her his full trust. Her betrayal caused him to be even more evil than he already is. Let's see in the last 2 episodes.

Well, the writers and producers screwed that up. If they could have kept the chemistry going and provided a redemption line this could have gone on forever and gained an incredibly big following. I don't know if I'll even tune in to watch this go down the drain. Too painful. He is a really good actor. Every emotion shows on face. Hey, it's not about the pretty. I'm old, this guy could be my kid.

I want him and someone like myung hee to end up together because their past are similar so they can understand each other

It's a small detail but quite significant, which I don't think I saw in any of the edits I watched before, that one you put Ryu Si-o x Tsetseg and not Nam soon. Because he didnt fell in love with Gang Nam soon, he did with Tsetseg. Maybe thats why he screams her korean name instead of the other one.

What about the fake namsoon that got a chance by the mom,ryu sio should get his chance to be happy. I know she died which is sad but everything has consequences.

i know he is bad but still.... i feel bad for him. his childhood ruined himself and now he is betrayed by her. i kinda understand why he wants to destroy everything and kills everyone around her.
