Flashbacks to my only hostage situation in the game being when you get separated in the second palace, and I literally just had Ann as my only other party member and I didn’t know they straight up die if you didn’t meet their demands.

Would be cool if choices like this actually affected your relationships. Especially if they could take multiple hostages and then force you to pay for both teammates or just one but cause your relationship with the other to fall. Would make conserving your money or your confidants into a constant problem throughout the game. And make you play more carefully to avoid these situations in the first place.
