7:43 - So Ryujin is demonstrating an amazing way of learning a new language. Note that every time she doesn't know a word in her sentence, rather than stopping, she fills in the Korean and KEEPS GOING to finish her statement. This is about as language-immersive as it gets, and is the same way that natives learn languages when they're young. It also proves that she's at a level of comfort that she doesn't feel shy anymore (no pun intended) about her English skills, doesn't stop herself mid-conversation and demonstrates just how much she knows already by making otherwise perfect English sentences if not for a few missing vocab. Long story short, Ryujin has definitively been putting in a LOT of effort to truly learn English. This type of immersive learning is very hard to practice in real life. It doesn't look polished at all compared to pre-prepared phrases, but it is a very raw and real way to learn. I'd she's like 90% of Lia's level in terms of the ability to speak. There's a clear accent difference, but otherwise I'd say their actual mastery over the language is more similar than it sounds.
@dysic00 Yeah they all love each other from all of what they went through as trainees and just long tours together. It's easy to see that they'd grow close and that Lia's fluent English abilities would rub off on the others. Ryujin and Yuna were always good, but I'm especially surprised at how good Chaeryeong and Yeji have gotten considering neither of them were even decent at it before.
Ryujin imoroved so much and can we appreciate itzy for always mentioning lia at every tpur stop because bery few grps mention the members on hiatus. Ot5❤
