If you like this, you'll probably love the band "Whispered" who dub themselves "True Finnish Samurai Metal". They also use modern instruments along with traditional Japanese instruments in their music. Their albums are: Thousand Swords, Shogunate Macabre and Metsutan - Songs of the Void. Now, if we could only get both of these bands on the same tour one of these years... 🙂

This is off topic but I had a friend be shocked when I told him about Japanese metal. I dont understand why that's such a shock so many countries enjoy metal and each band has its own unique style. It's always fun listening to new bands with their own take on metal!

I wanna let the foreign listeners know how full of enthusiasm for Japanese style this song is, not only in the melodies or instruments they use, but also the sounds and phrases of drums...it exactly sounds like "taiko"! This is precisely samurai metal!! I'm proud of GYZE as a Japanese fan! どうも、たけです！メロディやリフが和風ってだけじゃなく、スネアの音作りとかドラムのフレーズも和太鼓っぽくなってて、それがちゃんと無理なくメタルしてて、さすがのこだわりです！かっこいい！ Ryojiさん相変わらず多才すぎるし、Arutaさん楽しそうやしShinkaiさん渋いしカメオの皆さんかわいいし、MVも最高でした！早くライブで一緒にはッ！とかコンニチハ！とかやりたい(笑)

At my age (turned 67 today) you would think I had heard it all. I was at the first AC/DC concert in the USA! And the last Dragon Force concert in the USA! I love Disturbed and can howl with the best of them (not for human ears but dog's seem to love it) in private. I will still love good metal when I am 90 or 100 years old. It keeps me young! I have a sick car stereo and love it when people look at me all shocked when they see a little old lady behind the wheel!
