Funny story, bought a laptop from my local electronics vendor for about 170 dollars, it was supposed to have a 3020e, 4GB RAM, and they accidentally gave me a more expensive model with a 5300U and 8GB RAM. This model costs almost double the price lol. Glad to see I can run some pretty hefty titles with this thing I spent under 200 dollars for.
Acer got their aspire a515-45 with the ryzen 3 5300u on sale for $319. I see i made a good decision half of these games I didn’t expect this thing to run AT ALL & it turned around am ran them 20++++ frames lol. This won’t be my primary pc I have a desktop for 4k ultra gaming I just wanted something cheap that can run basic stuff for when im not home, happy with this benchmarks 🔥🔥👍🏾👍🏾. Some of these trash companies selling laptops with celerons for $250 lol so ryzen 3 319 fantastic
So the AMD Ryzen 3 5300U with its integrated graphics its as good as an Intel i7-4790K and a GeForce GTX 280. Aka good enough to play video games up to the year 2010 and 6th generation console emulation. Its actually a relatively good value right now because it will take a lot more to do 7th generation emulation and play the great games of the last decade. All this with a 65 watt charger which means this laptop is decent. The GPU and CPU are faster than my AMD Athlon 3000G.. maybe I'd wait for DDR5 in the laptop and HDR. If in the close future the iGPU is strong enough to play Skyrim and GTA 5 on max settings 1080p..., that would be sweet as well.
usually bios allocates up to 1024mb for integrated GPUs.. not sure if with this one it can go up to 2gb. More or less you wouldn't play above 540p @@gamingwithbasu4847

@@PCSupportGamingTest Well, judging by the tests on other channels, you can still play in 1080p. unfortunately those who do not have enough money for a good laptop will have to play with insufficient FPS. I just ordered a 5300u laptop for my nephew. I'll share my experience when it arrives.
Increase your cpu tdp to 25w, it will give slightly better fps If you are getting much lower fps then update graphics driver and disable unnecessary apps from startup in task manager

you can't use full potential of mx350 with i3 1115g4 because it is a dual core cpu, it bottlenecks so bad with mx350 so i would choose 5300u You can also check performance of i3 1115g4 with mx350 on youtube
Ahh... after the Witcher 3 next gen update, 5300u with vega 6 actually drop to 30 fps and I'm unable to launch the game with Dx12 which means no FSR : ( Does any experience the same?

5300u will be a great choice. Currently I am using same processor laptop. (feel like butter to use) Note: pick laptop with good display that's matter most after processor.
