please answer if you could: i have a ryzen 7 1700 and a 1070oc right now and i just got a 1440p monitor (165hz). should i go for 3060ti, will they work together well? is it worth the upgrade of the gpu only for now, and then (probably in 6 months) i will upgrade my cpu, right?
best configuration for 2k is 5600x and rtx 3070. 1700 can't take full advantage of the 3060ti's performance. rtx 3060ti is also recommended for 1080p only. If you are using main b450 then upgrade to ryzen 5 5600x.
