Sometimes I go down in the garage (I live in the apartment building) and I'm admiring my RD350 garage. Like you, ride it, I imagine myself in the position of sports, speeding. When we get older, our toys change, become more expensive and faster. But the desire to play, accelerating these toys, never ends. Linda your RD 421cc. Love two times. I love my RD350.
The simple builds are always the best. When I say simple, I mean the beautiful clean lines of your bike. Absolutely beautiful! Best regards from the Harz Mountains Germany.
Wow man beautiful bike,,,im looking to slip a built Banshee engine into a stretched new gen 250 ninjette frame jist for kicks,,,i cant decide either that or an ex 500 re sleeved with a turbo but i grew up on two strokes and just love the peppy lil rev rockets Very nice build Lad,,,Keep Safe from Canada EH!!!!
@DukeandRg Thanks , the engine is just great !!! bike handles perfect !! the frame was braced, The front & swingarm are from RGV banana VJ22. You can see my other vids , how bike revs up to 250 klm is very short period..... Petros
Can I ask where you got the tail light for this? I'm restoring a 350 and have been looking for one with the sigs built in to eliminate them, but haven't had much luck.
@ThePetros67 Thanks for the reply! That's pretty cool, I was actually on the site looking at the YZR350 and I think that's the way I'm going to go. The only question I have left, are the signal lights built into the tail light? It would be nice to eliminate the bulky old lights and have it all in one.
Sweet altercations to the bike. Wish i still had my 85 LC, left at cousins backyard and the Mexicans saw it an took it to Mexico to race down there. I still don't talk to him anymore, he knows I'm Super Mad at him been 27 years an he lives less than 7 miles from me.
Thanks , I have made several changes on the bike when the video was taken. R6 rad with fan , koso gauges , engine mods , rear set now to 100%. You can see my bikes on the link I just posted under my description.
@marlonrodriguesmaia No ypvs , this is a monoblock nicasil 2 cylinder 421cc banshee cub engine ( something like RD 350 LC ) two carbs Mikuni TMX 38s with lock up clutch to handle power....... Estimated over 100 bhp !!! Check out my other vids as I have a tuned 350 ypvs with power valve ypvs at aprox 65 bhp. Petros
Excellent! I am in the process of building a bike similar to yours! I did race an RZ350 in the 80's and did real well with it..Now I ride a Suzuki RG500 and a GSXR1000. Check out my RZ videos!
@ironDsteele Hi , I got the complete Airtech YZR350 Yamaha RZ350 YZR GP Replica Tail-only kit - tail piece - seat support bracket - mounting bracket - taillight - closed cell foam pad - license plate bracket Look the up at google and ask if they sell the tail light seperate. Thanks Petros
@ThePetros67 Its more like a non power-valve RZ350. Stock Banshees have no power valve. The RD350LC jug is put together kinda like the older air-cooled jug. The bolts go through the head and down through the cylinders to the bottom. RZ and banshee have studs the cylinder bolts down to. The head bolts to the cylinder. Cub = no power valve. Cheetah = power valve. just saying...
Hi Petros how are you? is it possible to have info regarding the engine? brand, cc, where did you bought it and so on? I will really appreciate if you could share info thanks a lot
