I think it gives it a little more low end. It’s not a crazy increase but I bet if you paired it with a tune it would be crazy. I have a new exhaust video coming out in a few weeks you might want to check out as well. RPM has been hard at work coming up with new awesome exhausts!
nice video. looking to get one for my pro xp also. is the noise tolerable for trail riding? that what I do most of the time, don't want something extremely loud. 👍
Thanks! And it’s a little loud and probably geared towards racing applications more than trail riding. I would look at one of their exhausts that have the electronic cutout so you can switch between quiet or wide open. It’s not bad in the cab going slow or easy trail riding but if you are wide open like at the dunes it’s pretty darn loud. I will say, they have some new exhausts coming out soon so if you’re not in a huge hurry to get a exhaust, might want to wait a little! Otherwise I would say their sport exhaust is a great option or a electronic cutout version!
Congrats on the new Pro! To answer your question, it will void a warranty BUT it will really come down to your dealer and how they want to handle it. If you have this exhaust and you blow a motor its easier for them to blame it on the exhaust and then you cant do a warranty claim. But if you have a electrical issue then the exhaust clearly wont effect that and you shouldn't have any issues with a warranty claim. If you are on the edge of doing modifications you can always keep the stock stuff and switch it out before you take it to a dealer and you wouldn't have any issues as long as its bolt on mods. If you tune the ECU then that's a slippery slope. I would also consider a little quieter exhaust that has a spark arrestor, this is a great one for racing but its loud for a slow trail ride. Hopefully that helps!
Oh shoot that’s no good, what exhaust was it? This is the second one we have gotten and they have been very well packaged. That’s weird that they haven’t emailed back. You could try and reach out on Facebook, they are typically really fast to respond!
@@brianbyers2682 dang that sucks, I guess the good thing is if you run the rear facia on the pro it’ll cover it up but obviously you want it to look good when you unbox it. Hopefully you can get ahold of RPM. It’s probably tough to ship a highly polished stainless exhaust and not have any scratches in it, it’ll look like hell after one muddy ride anyway but still.
Thank you! I’m a board member at the Kansas All-Terrain Vehicle Association and we have been riding/camping there since I was like 6 lol. I learned how to ride my first ATV there. Recently we have been going to Kansas Rocks and out to Tuttle Creek in Manhattan. I want to start making my way into Missouri. There are a ton of sweet offroad parks out there.
I had to go back and watch the video to see what you’re talking about lol. I did kinda leave out the install of it but really once you get it torn down to where I had it, you are just bolting back what you took off. I know a lot of people have issues with the turbo bolts but mine seemed to come off pretty easy, that would be one thing I add if I had to make the video again.
If you are running the rugged headset you’ll probably be good but honestly I would look at one of the cutout exhaust or the 3” monster core that I’m currently running. The monster core is by far my favorite. I can ride around easy with no helmet and not be hurting my ears but it’s still really aggressive. I would keep the desert series for just racing
Yeah it should just be water from the combustion cycle. I think it’s mainly noticeable when you have a more free flowing exhaust and it’s able to shoot it out more. I noticed it more on the desert series exhaust but exhaust in running now isn’t as bad.
