Over 2 years, many people suggested this song, and I almost laughed at them because I thought it’d be impossible for me, but finally, well played or not, it’s here!
@@ducksareurlords3782 because the name "Sakkijärven" sounds like "sekk i jerven" which means sack in the wolverine which can be interpreted as "jerv i sekken"
@@-.0-0.- It's gonna be a bit more than a few weeks, if you already have musical experiance maybe it'll take a month, if you don't, it could be years unless you have 4-6 hours a day to practice.
@@thenilssonchildren2283 Yes, I am Russian. This song doesn't offend me because it's just a normal finnish song that's kinda catchy. I don't really support Soviet Union or communism, only sometimes i do it for the memes and I don't really care about the Winter War. EDIT: And by 'amazing music' I meant all the songs on his channel.
On kauniina muistona Karjalan maa, Mutta vieläkin syömmestä soinnahtaa, Kun soittajan sormista kuulla saa, Säkkijärven polkkaa! Siinä on liplatus laineitten, Siinд on huojunta honkien. On sointuna Karjalan kaunoisen: Säkkijärven polkka! Nuoren ja vanhan se tanssiin vie, Ei sille polkalle vertaa lie! Man, every time you upload it usually brings me out of any bad mood I may be in, or it elevates the mood I'm already in. You are the reason I own two accordions.
@@theonewhocheekibreeki5521 So what's your process, seeing as how you do it all by ear? How long does usually take for you to figure a song? Especially one like this with all of those sixteenth note runs.
This one took me especially long because I couldn’t find the bass chords, though it turned out to be the 3 most common ones I use. For some songs it’s taken me only a few minutes. The process usually is 1. Learn the scales and corresponding bass pairs well 2. Mentally memorize the melody 3. Play the treble side until you can fluently find and play the melody 4. Mess with the bass pairs to find those that match 5. Put them together.
@@theonewhocheekibreeki5521 Yeah, that's similar to what I do, but I learn the melody through sheet music, and I can use what I know about music theory to narrow down my guesses for the bass notes based on what key it's in.
I heard many versions of this song on youtube but this one is one of the best. Others are maybe a bit more catchy but this one has its own style and sounds very clear and professional. The fast parts are super nice.
that melody sounds fast and difficult.... nice job dude. I'm a bassist and I spent a lot of my practice time trying to play melodies (not typical on a bass, but it was good exercise) and melodies like this would present the largest challenges. Nice job
Can we expect to see The Artilleryman's Song or perhaps March of Stalin's Artillery (Марш Артиллерии Сталина) anytime soon? Love you channel, been here since bandit radio!
You’ve been here since the start! I haven’t learned that song yet, but I’m sure you’ve noticed I have a habit of learning songs I once thought impossible ;)
@@theonewhocheekibreeki5521 Ahhh I'm excited to see what you have planned! Godspeed, and thank you for making these masterpieces! I've shown my father, who grew up in rural Ukraine, these accordion songs, and he loves them!
