My favorite one-two row Finnish accordionist - discovered him via his wonderful late 1980s CD and a late LP from the same period. Teppo also appeared on another late 1980s LP along with several other younger Finnish accordionists. No one plays "Jalasjarven Polkka" better than Teppo. He hails from the Jalasjarvi, Finland area, and his father and grandfather also were well known southern Ostrobothnian area accordionists (his father won first prize in the Finnish National One Row Accordion Competition in 1961 while young 13 year old Teppo won third prize). Teppo is my age (71) - I still hope to meet him some day in in Finland as I have played the old Finnish dance tunes for over 60 years and have had great admiration for this accordionist now for most of his adult life.
