Not over the limit at all! Ulf Pilgaard has made that kind of sketches for several years in the revue. This year was his final before retiring. At the last night of the season the queen surprised him by entering the scene at the end of the sketch. Everybody loved it! The queen presented U.P. with a gift - an ashtray, referring to his (the queen character's) many hints to the queens smoking habit. The queen and U.P. went to the same University at the same time, I believe. U.P. was studying theology and was a student actor.
@@charlotterjgaard4780 Thank you! So glad to hear it. I kind of doubt British royals (and royalists) love all the bbc's humor at their queen's expense. it's a tricky thing! and cultural variables are not easy to sort out. God jul!
@@kubel83 det siges, at Hendes Majestæt så den og det er også kendt, at da dette nummer blev opført for allersidste gang og dermed var også det sidste nummer i 40 års lange Ulf Pilgaards karriere i Cirkusrevyen, kom hun selv på scenen for at overrække en medalje og en for tiden ret kontroversiel gave--et æskebæger med royale monogram.
