I spent many happy hours listening to Seamus Ennis’s recordings when I was growing up, so when I took up the Uilleannpipes 25 years ago, I shaped my own piping-style after his. Leo Rowsome, Willie Clancy, Tommy Reck, Paddy Moloney, Paddy Keenan and Liam O’Flynn also had an influence on my playing. I believe, this was recorded in 1980, 2 years before he passed away. However, he remained the master till the end. Rest in peace, Seamus.
