Music will always be inspired by the environment in which it is created. More than ever, SÓLSTAFIR’s new opus ‘Endless Twilight of Codependent Love’ highlights the contrasting influences that have inspired the band over the years.

Haha I live right next to that house. It has more of a rural cottage vibe than a metal vibe but it's quiet for sure 😄. Anyway happy to know why there were so many people in this abandonned house in my backyard a while ago

Whao...this song is really really beautiful but the "nanananana" was not a good idea I think but it's my opinion ! And I prefer in Islandic than in English ! But it's still a truly good song, can't wait for the album

I usually listen to (Atmospheric) Black Metal, but something about the musiv videos of Solstafir turns me on. Must be the melancholic cold, latent depressive Icelandic ambience in artful manners and with some metaphors. :) Thanks for the video! The sound is a bit too "soft" for me, but the video is just right.

Yup...exactly what you said here, clicked on notification from seasons of mist because on the first glance looked like something atmospheric black metal-ish xD First time hearing Solstafir...stayed till the end just because of the video...music is ok..but as you said a bit soft :D

@@DreamskyDance I am mainly into atmospheric black metal too, but also a big fan of Solstafir since their 2011 Album Svartir Sandar. They have a variety of heavier and softer songs. If you missing heavier tunes, try listen to their older Albums Masterpiece of bitterness and Köld.

Speaking of atmospheric Black Metal, I'd love to hear Adalbjörn as guest on a Saor or Antigone's Fate record... And yes, as previously mentioned, they got some "rawer" Songs too, and Köld is a damn good Album which sounds the most depressing on vinyl 😅

I still remember it as if it was yesterday ... When you came to our small town and played on the "DEICHBRAND" that was unworthy of you ... Eich guys from the north to see how you performed at 32 degrees and almost in the sun has been burning since. It was a good performance and at some point I will visit your holy land.
