These cheesy crackers are simply delicious! You can substitute each 100 g lard by 142 g of fat butter (82%).

*** Ingredients for approx. 3 trays of simple, cheap and delicious feta cheese crackers:
550 g white flour type 000
1 teaspoon of sugar
7 g dry yeast or 25 g fresh yeast
120 -150 ml lukewarm milk (we start with 120 ml)
200 g lard (pork, duck, or goose fat) or 285 g fat butter (min. 80%)
200 g of salty sheep's or cow's cheese (telemea, Feta)
50 g Crème fraîche with min. 20% fat
2 egg yolks
20 g of salt
* Furthermore
50 g of soft lard for greasing the dough layers
1 egg beaten with a little salt and paprika (for glazing)
cumin, poppy, sesame seeds or seed mixes
Bake approx. 18-20 minutes at 170 C (preheated oven, top+low heat+ventilation or medium setting in gas ovens).
