Hi , We generally not required to use conversion routines if it is a field length mapping. I hope we can use variable+(length) when comparing on select query in ABAP point of view in Open Sql. Again i really appreciate your time in helping the community by posting videos on latest concepts.

Hi Anubhav, Great explanation. I can't see MATDOC and LIPS and other Database tables in my eclipse. Could you please tell me how can I get those. Even when I use snwd_bpa and T002 tables it shows - 'USE of database table SNWD_BPA is not permitted" . Could you please help me out to solve it. Thanks

I think CDS table functions have limitations.... This is not possible where complex custom ABAP programs and many SAP standard function modules are called and many conversions etc are done within the program !
