It's probably bad that my biggest realization here was that anthropomunicipality was toontown I spent a good thirty minutes trying to figure out what it meant
This is SO good. I love every character so far. And I am really happy the game seems to be a little different from Sburb? (At least the interface to enter the game) Which is fantastic! I love it!
Yeah, while I havent read it yet, it looks like the (server? John=client while rose=this) marks the area to possibly be transferred to the medium (I could be using the wrong lingo as well, I'll accept it my fault if so)
UPDATE: There may be some hope for Arcjec. Their group has both a Mage of Life as well as a Witch of Doom, so I can’t say that he’s completely dead in the water. Plus, Arcjec is a Bard, and they are notorious for always having a way of finding a route to Plan B. Although, with Arcjec being a Bard of Breath, we’ll have to see.
SPOILERS FOR LATE ACT 2 Interestingly, in [S] WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM there's an image that shows the opposite: Taz is the one bleeding on the floor while Arcjec is defending her. I wonder what that might mean? Is it a retcon, or an alternate timeline, or just Gaiaeon messing things up like he always does...?
Just finished reading the comic up to this point! I'm absolutely loving what you've got going on here, it feels incredibly authentic to the original Homestuck, while having some great twists!
@@basketcaseface813 I actually kinda forgot about VE during the wait for an update a while ago tbh. Been telling myself to start reading it again someday, but I haven't been feeling the Homestuck vibes.
ive tried to break down everything that's going on here, but there could very well be some inaccuracies. (begins with a rewind to Murrit and the flower, the flower going through its second release. Shows the game being installed for Taz, Occeus, Sovara, Calder, Serpaz, Jentha. Cuts to Murrit and Laivan’s Anthropormuncipality antics (Various Toontown recordings/screenshots). Then, Taz sets up the pillars around Arcjec’s hive. Arcjec carries the papers with the various sigils outside with him. One of the pillars crashes through Arcjec’s roof comically. Taz fixes the pillar as the meteor looms in the distance. Ellsee is shown in her robes near Arcjec’s hive; she and Arcjec both fearfully look at the meteor in the distance. Taz continues establishing the pillars. The pillars begin to blink and light up. Laivan and Murrit partake in a celebratory high five and pose in shutter shades. Dismas is shown being hassled by the BOOBDRONE and prepares to strife with his lusus. Albion astral projects, visions both of the game and of the ancestors flash in her eyes. A vision of her ancestor flashes before her, perhaps signaling that the two are merging. The animation goes back to Dismas’s lusus strife: the lusus smacks Dismas with their tail, forcing Dismas off a cliff, where he uses his 2xknifekind to stop from collapsing. His lusus stands across the way from him on the next cliff over. An explosion of blue light goes off in front of Dismas, knocking the bandana from his face. Albion continues to see visions of the ancestors/game(?). The visions include: the ancestors painting the sigils in the dungeon we saw Murrit in before, Ellsee’s ancestor healing Arcjec’s with her blood (my speculation) with Albion’s ancestor coming in from the distance - whatever it is that Ellsee’s ancestor is doing, Albion’s ancestor is pissed about it. It seems Dismas’s ancestor is either consoling or making a deal with Albion’s ancestor. There is a shot of a meteor crashing into what looks like a sigil or a component of the Game, then what I can only assume is a portal opening up. Laivan stares down into a steaming/boiling pit of liquid with two creatures behind him. He holds up the green sun amulet given to him by White Noise, perhaps contemplating dropping into it the boiling pit of liquid. Taz stands in Godtier garb, holding weapons, with her chucklevoodoo activated. An imposing figure stands before her, what looks to be an either gravely wounded or dead Arcjec lies behind her. Albion appears distraught at these visions. Albion’s ancestor stands before her; the look on her face seems to be one of either intense concentration or frustration/anger. The screen fades to black with only her eyes visible to the screen before fading back to Arcjec standing in the front yard of his hive. Taz constructs the gate and the pillars glow blue, a symbol (kind of looks like a flower?) hovering over the hive. Arcjec runs back into his hive to input more of the symbols (???). The portal to the medium opens. Taz deploys the chest that was previously inaccessible and forces Arcjec to look inside it. The chest glows the same blue and a gust of wind sweeps Arcjec up (Breath Player Thingz), pushes him out of his hive, and towards the gate to the medium, portal open. Taz pushes him in and the screen fades to white noise. Ellsee’s symbol appears after the screen fades to black.
Loki The skeleton the frick! Where is this?? As a member of the homestuck fandom y’all know I constantly need to inhale garbage. But srsly this looks AMAZING.
Here's a comment for personal reference as well as to share my theory of what's going on as I'm reading this story. Please do not confirm or deny what I state: Laifan and Murrit might be moirails; the scenes flashing in Albions eyes were of their past lives (there's some looping bs going on here); Albion's past self seemed to have the green sun medallion; the chest embodied Arcjec's breath aspect. As the bard of breath he is drawn to escapism, but promotes it's destruction by the hands of those around him, namely Tazsia; I won't bother deciphering the pillar symbols, hope it's not important.
THIS IS AMAZINGGGG Im having such a great time reading this!!! One of the best fanworks ever! All the characters are so good the art is amazing the writing is so wonderful..everything abt this is just amazing!!!!!! Its nearly 3 am or id go read some more but for now I am just blown away I love this!!
Long time homestuck, new reader! So excited for all of this, it feels just like how Homestuck did back then- I'm intrested, confused, and I want to know everything! God, long drags of text, well made sound pages, confusing and crytpic dialogue, I can't stress how much this feels like my first time reading Homestuck all those years ago. Can't wait to rip through this bad boy!
This... this feels like seeing a homestuck flash for the first time again. I don't have any contexts but still. There's a comic for this? I may need to read this...
**coalesce of danimal cannon** entry number seventeen da'k da'ker yet da'ker da da'kness keeps growin' de shadows gonna deep on fetauring The experimns da next experiment sims berry berry interestin
The characters seem kinda bad and liveless and there is too much leaving you in the dark as you read in the bad way while they whine in a very human way, the characters are mediocre
@@basketcaseface813 I disagree, furthermore this was a year ago and haven't read any updates since then and don't care about this particular story anymore because it was just so bland to me. I'm glad you disagree, keep enjoying what you like! No need for me to be involved in that
Sort of, yes. He's the protagonist of the comic and the session's Breath player. He's not exactly a bronze blood though. The Vast Error session quite reasonably does not contain a troll with the same candy red mutant blood as Karkat. It also doesn't have a jade blood. Instead, there's a lime blood, and an extra bronze blood in the form of Arcjec whose blood is slightly lighter than normal bronze for... reasons.
I'm new here. Does anyone know what the clown girl troll's name is? And dude this is amazing I didn't even realize this was a fan thing at first cuz I was browsing through S Homestuck flashes
