Lucas Lepri, pretty much the greatest lightweight jiujitsu player of all time. We don’t see any lifting, so would be interested to see what you guys recommend as best for jiujitsu, as I’ve just started lifting for JJ myself in the past month. Step up defo from Franz Bosch, worked with the Japanese rugby team a few years ago and many of his methods have been applied to sprinting also. The calf part with heel raise looks like a Cal Dietz thing.
I train alongside some rugby players and they do something similar to that plate raise/step-up, no clue what it's for though--they don't know either from what I've heard
Repeating the praise but yeah, these digestible, react-type videos on real life examples of S&C gives a super practical insight into your guys' perspective
@@FitchFitchFitch I use them as a warmup / auxiliary exercise for the snatch, done with a snatch. Pretty awful trying to do snatch grip presses in the front of you neck lol.
