The only bad things on the fig are: No regular articulated arms and legs.cuz later on the plastic will start cracking The hip.the plastic on the hip will start cracking aswell The aura is too heavy and the joint cant hold it up sometimes But otherwise its a great fig
elastic hip makes great poseability. it might break someday, but we'll see, i guess. the aura is not too heavy, the socket is just too loose. i'm impressed he can stand quite stable with those flexible legs 😂 if they put conventional joints on him, people will just scream inaccuracies 😂 yes, he's not perfect, but for 80$ i think he's a very nice figure to play for a couple of years until his limbs cracked 🤣 i just cant blame bandai's effort for trying something new. it's just refreshing to see something different sometimes.
@@timdoe8895man this guys only valid complaint is the cloud which is fair. The bendy joints will last at least a decade if you take care of it right
@@hellohihello1249 they aren’t good alongside not lasting as long as any regular plastic figure will. The normal arms get 90 on the dot with excess force for a figure. Compared to the 35 dollar naruto and goku who doesn’t have this issue. Those terrible hips that you need to crush the plastic for and actively damage it the longer it stays like that is also worse compared to the 35 goku and naruto who get perfect range with zero issue or guaranteed damage to the figure.
The dlc head for the gear 5 luffy don’t have a ball peg so I can’t put the head on the regular luffy because the regular luffy has a ball peg attached in the head
i recommended him, if u can get him for reasonable price. he's not that pricey bcos he's a general release. and no, he's not that terrible for posing. although there are limitations, just like any other action figure. in fact, i enjoy posing & taking pictures of him surprisingly.
@@toysfront Don’t get him excited now. The average Dragon Ball and Naruto figure pose way better than this guy with not even half the effort. His arms barely get 90 by using a decent bit of force compared to a 35 Dollar Goku and Naruto who get better than 90 with zero effort. The legs don’t break 90 either and while easier to move don’t have the same fluid motion or range and WILL break over time as the plastic grinds against the metal. 35 dollar Naruto and Goku can kick their own buts. The hips being soft plastic will ruin the the sculpt as you push the hard plastic legs against them and obviously scrunching plastic isn’t a good idea. 35 Dollar Naruto and Goku don’t have this problem either. Giant hard plastic Smoke effect. One Piece figures tend to have massive hunks of plastic that just impede articulation. Look at quite literally every figure that isn’t base luffy and sanji. Naruto line has soft goods, dragon ball line doesn’t have that problem. The figure just doesn’t compare to the bare minimum entry level figures of its partner lines. Man it has worse articulation than the bleach figures as well.
yes, it takes some effort to pose him because of the stiff plastic. but as i said, i cant blame bandai for trying to aim for accuracy 😆 i dont own many one piece figuarts so i wouldnt know about impending articulations. however, truthfully, when comparing shf goku ui vs shf gear 5, i prefer gear 5 just for it's uniqueness. and i am a great dbz fan 😂 but if u take the much cheaper goku legendary / ss4 for comparison, of course gear 5 will lose in terms of poseability. as my understanding, some of that 80$ goes to research & material cost, so i think it's reasonable to price a unique one-of a-kind figure more expensive than common ones. in gear 5 case, i like : design, initiative, reasonable price. sorry for having a different opinion friend 🙏
@@Josh-xp5kj No they aren’t. Leopard man doesn’t compare to 40 years of training and developing culminating in a godly technique befitting a martial artist. Nothing in One Piece is half of that. Next your going to say Kaidos form is such a better form when all it is is a zoan form.
i'm not a one piece fan either. but even i have to admit that gear5 form is much better designed. sorry, friend, changing hair color just dont count as new design.
i think nobody is stealing anything here, friend 😆 well, i think if u refer to hair standing up, i guess i have to agree 🤣 as i said before, i'm not a fan of one piece, but doesnt mean it's trash, either. however, as far as character design & figure design as a whole, dbs is bland compared to gear5. what makes me impressed is that bandai is willing to try flexible plastic just to keep him screen accurate. i gotta say, he's quite photogenic too 😁
