For me, ssj4 is arguably the best or second-best ssj form behind ssj. Love the Ozaru ties to the form. Don't have him yet but excited for his release as easily the best Vegeta they've done if the looseness wasn't such an issue.

I'm with you on the 3.0 legs being a step backwards from the 2.0, especially with those annoying hard plastic butts killing articulation. Unfortunately I think they're gonna be here to stay because on social media, whenever anyone points out the flaws on these legs they get torn apart by simps who fawn over the shiny new thing.

This! Some people don't know that a figure that can move it's legs backwards can make or break some dynamic poses. Wouldn't be surprised though, people who's okay with a limited leg range pose their figures like it has a plank of wood glued on it's back lmao.

@@JJ-jh4cmI think some people just prefer forward articulation more then backwards so it all goes down to preference. Personally my figure had great back and forward articulation on the legs.

SSJ4 is probably the best call back to their actual ape like heritage outside of the great ape forms. Far more creative than the simple hair color swaps from Super. Really like the designs for both Goku and Vegeta, but SSJ4 Gogeta is easily my favorite.

I wouldn't think too much of that. Goku is a kid with kid sized clothes but then when he goes SSJ4 it's adult sized. I just attribute it to being Dragonball magic logic.

SSJ4 is by far the best form it ties back to both their Saiyan heritage and also Journey to the West which the series was inspired by, definitely much better than anything from DBS they dropped the ball so hard with Super. This figure is great but waaay to small Vegeta grows about a foot taller in that form he should be as tall as Gohan. I got lucky with mine and don't have a single QC issue this is honestly one of the better figures despite some if flaws.

Why is the fur red though? Why do they have red around their eyes? SSJ4 isn’t even a SSJ transformation. Its kind of its own thing. I don’t understand the hype around personally

Yeah Super Saiyan 4 is easily my favorite form. Only one that comes close for me is SSj2. I love the uniqueness of SSj4. I think they knocked it out of the park with the design.

So, overall...I really like this figure. You're right about everything. For me, the first thing I noticed on this figure was the odd design on those pants. I also wish the body hair had a wash to it too. The loose hips are not good. But damn, Darwin's power level is Omega! I love the SS4 deign, it makes sense because of their heritage. And SS3 is probably my favorite of all time,too.

Mmm…for me, SSJ3 is my favorite Saiyan form. However, I’m okay with SSJ4. It’s off putting at first but I found myself warming up to it after a while. I always thought SSJ4 would look a lot better by keeping the SSJ3 hair with both the chest hair and tail, while keeping the signature golden color of the classical Super Saiyan forms. I like forms better when they build upon on what came before. before. Kinda like a evolution, you know what I mean?

This should have been the figure of the year, but the amount of QC issues these Vegetas had ruined it so bad, mine had a few, like most. What bothered me the most was the back of one leg was matte finish while the other one was too shiny, had to varnish the stupid thing myself 😂

I just got this guy, Honestly not a bad figure. A good first sh figuarts vegeta for me yet i got one with mixed qc. Overly tight upper body and the same exact hip problem as you Anthony, thankfully a bit of silicone old and some superglue and this guy is pretty much fixed up. Highly recommend if to anyone interested, it's worth the gamble simply for how fun and good looking vegeta is.

What's happened to SHF? They used to be known for sparse yet quality releases, now they seem to have gone for quantity at the sacrifice of quality and it's not for the betterment of the product.

Mines don’t have loose joints so I’m happy with mines, my only problem with the figure is the thighs, they should have slimmed the legs down a bit and just put an even straight cut like marvel legends figures does at the upper thigh. They should have gave the effects that came with the figurine model kit but Overall this figure is the best ss4 vegeta action figure made

I personally LOVE this figure! So far I am really liking the colors of the GT designs a lot more than the other lines. As of now, I am torn between this and Legendary Super Saiyan Goku as my favorite.

@4:08 it's not just on their DB line. Other anime line, kamen rider both shinkochou seihou (SS) and not SS line, super sentai, ultraman etc. Have this weird sticking out thigh thing, even some have their thigh covers the upper joint, which heavily hinder the legs articulation. I mean, you can still move the legs, but there's no way doing it without scuffing the thighs itself and rubbing the paint off.

I'd say these releases are super inconsistent. I was a little weary about getting this guy. My SS4 Goku has a rather loose neck and ankle joint. Thankfully, my Vegueta came out really good. No loose joints whatsoever. My friend's figure, on the other hand, has the same loose hips as Anthony's.

mine came out the box with the wobble legs :( is there any way to fix it? i cannot pose him with the legs ben cause the pelvic thigh area just falls right back into place... very sad cause hes a cool figure

like to the point if you try and make him do the splits like you did the leg just flops right back down thee is 0 friction to hold it in place and this is brand new out of box...is there any way to fix this??

I love the figure honestly, I picked him up a bit late (this morning) but wow what a great figure I managed to pick him up for $60 and while he was a bit pricey and I wish he could’ve been $45-$50 I still think for $60 it’s not that entirely bad considering the fact that it brought an insane amount of hands, a good amount of faces and his final shine attack, the 3.0 body is insanely amazing for both posing and playing, my only 2 issues with this figure is the extremely stiff shoulders, and that for $65 (official retail price) it would’ve been nice if they threw in an aura accessory

Are you going to review the Imagination Works Vegeta? I recently got him and I think he looks amazing, especially when you compare him to the Goku one. My only complaint would be that I wish he had some energy effects, and maybe that I really hope the cloth he has actually lasts. For the question, my favorite look I guess depends a bit on the character, for Goku definitely is SSJ4 but for Vegeta I think SSJ looks the best because the hair goes really well with his blue outfit.

I have SS4 Goku and the design of the figure is great, but this new factory still needs to work on their QC. I got some joints loose, others too tight, a big gap between the hair and the forehead, neck joint way too weak, tail won't connect even with a lot of force, color issues, etc. Compared to many other Dragon Ball SH Figuarts I own, it's both one of the prettiest and one of most fragile. So I decided to skip Vegeta.

My copy also has loose hip but the shoulders + bicep swivels are extremely tight. Really good looking figure but the joints' quality is quite bad tbh.

@@infamous6283 Mine's pretty bad, the left bicep swivel makes squeaky noise every time I try to move it around. Already put the figure in hot water but couldn't fix it. I might get some silicone shock oil to smoothen the joints.

I prefer Super forms over SS4. SSG and SS Blue looks awesome specially on Vegeta. Not counting ultra Ego. If the fur colours where brown or Black could be better

Vegeta got back...unfortunately. That leg cut as well, yikes. I was never a huge GT fan, it was alright yet somehow managed to have what seemed like filler without even being based off a manga :/. SSJ4 design is definitely interesting and unique, though I do wish their "fur" was different color. That and changing Vegeta's gloves and boots to light purple always seem like a very odd choice. Hopefully the one I have on the way has tighter joints.

Quality wasnt great on this guy. I liked the quality on ssj4 goku way better. It wasnt perfect but better. I was expecting this guy to take the place of my #1 favorite shf db figure from goku but sadly it didnt.
