The Citadel of 's-Hertogenbosch is a fortress on the north side of the town center of 's Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. It was constructed from 1637 to 1642.
The citadel was a fortress with five points in the bastion. The construction of the fort was started shortly after the capture of the city in 1629. The fortress was given the name Fort William Maria, names of two of the children of Prince Frederick Henry of Orange, who had conquered the city from the Spanish.
