I like how you did the comparison between the Select and the Preferred. What I especially appreciated as the viewer was the unfortunate fact that there was no 360° camera in either model. Keep up the good work.
I got the blue select. Don't need extra stuff on the preferred. So far pretty good all around for my needs. + like that there is NO cvt or 1.5 turbo engine, as in honda crv & other honda models. Never bought a mazda so hopefully it will be good🤞
The 50 is wider and too low to get in and out of if 6 feet tall or higher. The stitching on the seats is annoying. The 5 feels better and is a pleasure to drive. I love the 5!
Very good comparison, just like you I'm 6'2" tall, and I'm thinking of buying a CX-5, is the driver's bottom seat cushion long enough for thigh support or is too short?
From Mazda: "Due to supply shortage, cylinder deactivation (CDA) and i-stop will be dropped from the Skyactiv-G 2.5 DOHC Engines beginning with October Production for 2.5 S Select and 2.5 S Preferred and from November Production for 2.5 S Carbon Edition, Premium and Premium Plus. Cylinder deactivation and i-stop will be reinstated once the supply recovers.” So, either you get both CDA and i-stop or you don't get either one.
