Interesting and a good quality flash. One questionable element stems from the misunderstanding of Calliope's predomination - Calliope did so the correct way for her species, and didn't cheat via dreamself murder as Caliborn did. This is why Calliope's personalty changed and matured where Caliborn's remained childlike. I also think it's a stretch to assume alt-Calliope stabbed her own eyes out, as nothing about her appearance indicates blindness in the comic. These details don't really interfere with the rest of the flash, and the whole is enjoyable.

The Alt!Calliope stuff is pretty cool and makes sense, except for one thing. If Dream!Alt!Calliope died on Derse, how did Alt!Calliope reach God Tier?

One thing I always hated about Homestuck was the fact I could never understand what the fuck was going on with all the fancy wordings and confusing flashes and so many revolving story lines at once

Wow I've been a big fan of Act 8 for a while and somehow missed this when it first came out?? This was an incredibly ambitious flash and what is finished looks amazing. I'm so glad you're updating the comic again!

this is astoundingly well done, it took hussie years to develop his style of visual storytelling within each flash, as well as improve his art to that level and consistency shown in this video. perhaps that he was making it up from scratch and you had access to the whole of his work as a basis is a good excuse to explain this quality and how closely it resembles his official HS, but still this level of accuracy, detail, and getting it to resemble his creation so well is nothing short of a marvel.
