I dig the Streetmaster on my Sport Glide. Autoparts stores sell “security torx” so you can remove the Db reducer. It’s a 1 7/8” baffle. Fuel Moto sells a 2” x12” baffle. You just cut it to the same length of the stock Db reducer and reinstall. Flows better sounds a little more base and a little louder.
Sounds very good. This is with db reducer? And is it actually louder than slip-ons without cats? I have S&S grand national race slip-ons without cats and the stock header without cats as well. Would the difference in sound volume be that noticeable?
Is the "break kit" necessary ? I just bought this exhaust for my 2019 FXLR and it said I needed the break kit for models with mid foot controls. This fat Bob looks like it's mids, but I didn't see him talking about that or have issues when installing it. .
Fantastic video! I just bought me a leftover 2020 low rider s and I'm looking for things I can do that don't void warranty. Since these have cats in them, does that make them warranty friendly? Thanks for the video fellas, I'll buy it from you if it's what I need just for this video alone.
Hello JP cycles, Thanks for the awesome video! I just sold my V&H ProPipe. Was too loud for me in stage 2. Even with quiet baffle in! Is this superstreet system a better option for me? I am curious what really makes this legal in the states. Maybe it'll be "enough legal" in EU.. High flow Cat and a Db dilencer S&S website reads. So the question is, would this be a better pipe for me? I am very open for suggestions!
The S&S pipe is more mellow sounding than the Pro Pipe and it also has a DB reducer that comes with it. Although it is 50 state compliant in the US it isn't compliant in the EU.
@@jpcycles I see. Well what is the DB limit in the US? I'd like to know what the actual difference is between the US/EU law. I think its 80 here in the EU. Or perhaps 85.
AS far as production pipes go this one will work very well. Honestly once you get into the high horsepower applications a stepped header custom built pipe is probably in order.
Big cubes factory ported heads +1 valves you would definitely benefit from an exhaust system that has larger stepped primaries. Fuel Moto, Thrashin, D&D, and more now make them for the softails.
I have a 2020 street bob, and im looking for new exhaust. But im having a hard time choosing a 2 in 1 P. Its my fist bike, and I wanna choose a good brand, which one can you suggest?
If you want to keep the bike 50 state legal the S&S pipe is the way to go. 2 of my other favorites are Cobras El Diablo and Vance and Hines Stainless upsweep. Can't go wrong either way
I have the deadwood denim green FatBob 2021I want to keep the factory look of the bronze heat shields But I like this S&S California commie compliant S&S exhaust do any of you guys know of a Cerakote guy that can Cerakote the heat shields for me ?
