Deltia, man I stopped playing ESO after you left, and I went to college and recently got back into it and found that you looked completely different. I realized that you and I went through the same workout journey, from gamer to gym rat, and watched a lot of your backlogged content, I'm insanely proud of the physique change, and also glad you are back to content creation for one of my favorite mmos, TY!
Honestly just a dream watching this guide. I've been so lost this patch trying everything to not leave my DK behind. This is perfect... covers duelling/1v1s and 1vx BG/cyrodiil. Multiple sets for multiple situations and in depth coverage of skills and sets. I could almost go to sleep listening to this it's that soothing haha thank you so much ! Will be following more closely for now on.
Hey ! great build as always ! But did you miss that empower now only apply to full Heavy (+80%) and only on NPCs, not players anymore, would you stay with armaments knowing this ?
The tooltip is interesting: "... increasing the damage of your Light and Heavy Attacks by 80." It's the only skill that doesn't mention "against monsters", but I have to assume it's a typo and will be fixed in next week's patch. If that's the case, I would definitely run Igneous Weapons for that juicy 1 min duration.
New to the game and loving DK so far. Your video was very informative with the right amount of entertainment. I also love the exiting message 🤣. Subscribed!
Happy to see this, saw your tier list and pulled out my stam dk (been running mag dk) guessed almost everything right. Except dual wield. Went og dizzy swing. And majesty.
You're the reason why I want to get into PVP after avoiding it for YEARS! (I've been playing since Morrowind!) I'm super excited to make a stam dk (I've been running with my mag dk for pve for almost a year but I need a break from her LOL. 😭)
If I went with the dual wield front bar but swapped in a oakensoul ring, do you think the build could be just as good or does it need both bars to truly succeed?
wouldn't it be a little more optimized when putting the trainee as a light belt and plaguebreak legs ? So that the shoulder then can go as heavy instead of light as shoulders are giving same amount of armor as legs and head ?
@@getbent8247 and you'd still have a light shoulder which ain't optimizad, i do go with a heavy reinforced trainee chest but legs PB, while shoulder and hat both heavy and a light DT belt
I love PVP as a DK. However, I have a question about your choice with Daedric Trickery. I know it's primarily built around doing burst damage, but Daedric Trickery doesn't really provide much in the form of usefulness (movement speed/healing done (which you don't do as a DK unless you count CB)/healing taken (which is useful in Cyro or Battlegrounds, but not so much IC). Protection and Heroism seem like the only two buffs that are moderately useful but you only have a 20% chance of getting either one, which leaves you open to not really getting much benefit out of it in solo fights (which looks like what you were doing in Battlegrounds). Wouldn't you be better off using Medusa + Plaguebreak for the extra crit chance + crit damage? Why or why not?
@@Deltiasgaming I think Molten is the only tooltip that didn't get the "to Monsters" addition to the Empower description. I doubt the effects of Empower itself are different for the one skill.
Great to see you again, Deltia. When I was here you were gone, you came back and I got disgusted and left. But they actually improved PvP host performance, after years of promises...their version of "infrastructure week." 😂 Smart build. Yeah, you like to play the somewhat thick regular guy but that's RP. Many kinds of smarts in this world. All good except I'm not digging for stuff with a ludicrous mini-game. Not then, not now, not ever. The pay in humilation in return for power is real. It's called learning how to play. Not how do dig 😉 No such thing as a must have item.
Any opinions on plaguebreak front bar dw, 2h Back bar daedric trickery, 2 bloodspawn,5 medium 2 heavy don't want to level psjik order so need either forward momentum or shuffle for snare/immob on back bar?
Ok, first. So I've from time to time have followed your builds "mostly ", only PVE because that's IMO what you're know for. But..... this build is fun as shit and really puts out some good damage. I'm a DK guy only. I normally use my magdk, however.... When I saw your build thought... what the heck! A++
Nice, I really like the use of spin to win and crit, I'll definitly give it a try. However molten armement seems like such a dead slot since empower doesn't apply to pvp :/ Have you tried venom arrow with a bow or degen with ice staff ?
Hey fellas! A buddy and I have been thinking of coming back to the game on PC for a little bit now and the only thing that is keeping us from committing is the talk of some pretty hefty server lag in pvp. Alot of the talk is from a while ago and I'm having trouble seeing if it is still an issue in the current update. Is the lag still pretty bad on PC or is it fixed now?
Man, tried a mix back when eso first released, as I’m sure you all know - didn’t go well, like a wet flannel Glad to see dragon knight change and come into a it’s own over the years
Deltia has a website but from what I've seen from Deltia's build guides (and others like lucky ghost) and a video he has about running a hybrid is you want to put all of your attribute points into just one of the things (in this case Stam) because if you do a bit in each of them then you lose out on DMG and such. Use food that will increase your max mag, health, stam and potions to help recover and etc. >w
@@Deltiasgaming cool thanks. I enjoy your style of content. I play on the Xbox NA server. I’m legally blind and my PvP will never be top tier, but I love giving players the business.
Dark elf is really nice for bigger resource pools as a DK you'll be using both heavily. In addition the weapon damage makes it hit with the best. Sustain is perfect using the jewels of misrule. Highly recommend dark elf
Deltia didn't make empower only work in pvp content? that was part of heavy attack nerfs "we have decided to remove the impact it can have in PvP environments to avoid re-enabling one shot builds" - quote from the U35 natch potes
Deltia, can you give us a MagDK before the update for console (PvE build) I'm dreading it... I'm running Khajit, dual wield blades, with Orders Wrath and Infallible Aether... the whip is destroyed now. I use my stam for ducking and diving and I'm going to be burning through the stam on the whip. That's where I hit the triple stacked attack for max crit... I'm really dreading the update
I’m a new player, and I hit lv 50 + 215 cp, I’m farming now cp’s and mage guild. Can you tell me as an hybrid how many points I have to spend in magika and stamina? Initially my aim was to be full magika so all my points are in there but I guess I can reset them? It seems that hybrid is the way due to the changed on the various skills which are partially stamina based.
Even with hybrid put all your points into one pool either stam or mag. If you do pvp you also should put some into health. If you can hit 30k thats all you need, it may take some points into health to hit that but if you can get at least 30k without putting points into health, put them all into either stam or mag.
Wretched vitality carries sustain. Make sure you have your potion passives and pop them as often as necessary. Run a sustain mundus whether it be the atronach or serpent.
Stacking critical isn’t optimal on a dk, it benefits from 0 crit passives. Better off going down the crit route with a nightblade or Templar who inherently benefit from crit damage within their passives. Better off focusing on weapon damage.
Run DW/2H or S&B with witch knight, plaguebreak jewelry/weapons. And use either blood spawn, troll king, balorgh, or Kena for the monster set and you’ll be hitting 6-7k weapon damage with 40% crit no problem
It's not all weapon damage. I can get 8.5k in small groups easy and hit like paper before dying in 4 seconds. You need penetration. Recovery. Defence. Speed. All in balance not just heaps of WD for a screenshot.
Man, the dot nerf is so stupid. It came with no benefits. I can't stand the burst builds and quit when I realized this is what I would have to do in order to compete again. I want to melt people's faces off again☹
cant believe they still havent nerf that shitty corrosive armor meanwhile sorc bubble rip lmfao corrosive can even give you full hp and resource back wtf
I think I came up against a guy using this, or a very similar, build just now. After 1 minute of him running around a pillar holding on for dear life, he was on the floor.
my escapist poisons that i use include marking my victim, allowing me to see them while steathed and its a great counter to nbs, i think they might be more expensive but i love em
