You're right, but Kirby has a lot of good options to counter 90% of Min Min players: first of all, you can crouch and avoid most MinMin options, multiple jumps to mix up your approach, good framedata to counter every Oos MinMin option, and one of the few matchups where absorbing will give Kirby a huge advantage

Im sure the Kirby players would love to use their copy, but the inhale can be easily punished so they usually just don't even bother. Especially since its high-pressure scenarios and its the last thing on their mind to risk it.

I personally think ZSS is Min Min's hardest matchup.

I think the Kirby player just outplayed him. Zss is probably one of the best against MinMin because of her mobility.

@Noah Tawil i wouldn’t be discounting Kirby’s equally aggravating combos and excellent frame data, whereas min min doesn’t have good frame data all around.

Doesn't help that many of her moves seem so linear, with predictable direction and very weird DI. Mixing up against a small puffball must be hard, particularly as attacks don't seem to be very fast. Plus, anyone who mains Kirby knows the value of closed spaces and how Kirby can really outmaneuver in close quarters due to his small size, low mobility and small jumps. If Kirby gets in, he'll do a world of hurt, so it's double pressure on the Min Min to keep Kirby away while trying to remain offensive.

Just because professionals does some kinds of miracles with a character doesn't mean the character isn't bad. Kirby is low tier for many reasons, most characters have the tools to get in, kirby doesn't. He is light, he is slow, his combos even if they are impressive,do not exist after a certain percentage, he has difficulty to kill and he is obliged to "cheese" (Like you probably saw on the video). Of course you're not a kirby main so you probably don't understand the real problems of the character. It's quite frustrating to see people say that the character is not bad after a video. Professionals exists for all characters, so all characters are good?

Dood my boy Jeja lost to a min min a while back and that min min was the most boring character to watch peck was more entertaining than most people who play this character competitively though yes min min is annoying

JeJa has won 4 as Kirby on this channel

Its two things: 1) Megawatt is the best Arm to hit Kirby even in low-profile and more importantly 2) he can't use aerials as much to cancel Megawatt compared to the others.

Zoning is not the same as camping you know? Personally I don't think Min Min is lame and boring, quite the opposite: she has her strengths and weaknesses (as we saw in this set)

@@alvaropinilla8639 Even though I can agree with you. Every character can be hype when done with the right person. It's rare for someone like Min Min to be as hype as Ganondorf. Like sure, Camping and Zoning are different playstyles but the thing is, because of how good Min Min is good at Zoning it often result to people camping them out. Seeing that it's the most safest and easiest option. Ganondorf isn't the same, sure his smash attacks have good range but that isn't a good zoning option so you won't be seeing anyone camping since his kit is not like that. I ain't trying to shame you for liking Min Min, I might as well come clean and say that I love fighting Ness and Young Link cool af. However making someone like Min Min, Olimar, Sonic, and Inkling eye candy can be difficult compared to someone like Ganondorf, Ice Climbers, and Little Mac. Though I'll just leave this conversation here, I do appreciate this Min Min for trying to go off stage and try to fight(by that I mean fight above), though it does suck that we rarely do see Min Mins acting cool.

I love watching a good Samus and any other projectile character. A good Min Min just isn't doing it for me.

She is lame and boring though.
