What is the purpose of the bit? - The connection via the tongue, the whys and the hows.
We have discussed bits and bitless bridles in several videos. But why is the bit important? What is so special about the bit that it has survived for thousands of years?
Why is the contact with the tongue so important, and how do we obtain this contact? We try to discuss this difficult topic and see if we can describe some ways to obtain this contact.

=========================
Every second Wednesday we do an hour long streaming sessions where we talk about our horses, how we train them, and the theory of riding and training horses and ourselves in general. We analyze videos and photos of ourselves and answer questions from our students and viewers. Submit you questions to us in the comments section during the stream, send us a message or you can even submit a totally anonymous question using tellonym.me/tr... All our previous episodes are available as videos here on our channel. If there are any other topics you would like us to cover please let us know.
