New Zealanders play a small but significant role in the Second World War on land, sea and air. Meanwhile our farms and factories keep supplies flowing to the battlefields. But when Japan enters the war it looks like the fighting is about to arrive on our doorstep.

The more history I read, the more you realise that Split Enz totally got it wrong. History seems to be doomed to repeat itself over and over again, just with slightly different groups of people doing terrible things to slightly different other groups of people.

@@peacefulwarrior6285 Having served this country twice as an Infantry soldier.I do know this countries military history,have studied for over 55 years .Having many family and knowing many who served in WW2 none of them ever mentioned your so called quote.
