I love this park not far from my house . And you are right less people! Yosemite Park is a very pretty but has more people than trees ! Yosemite , Sequoia , Kings Canyon all run together and when you are old like me you buy a free pass for life . You make some great videos . I like the one were you said you had to have a shovel to camp . All I can say is THANK YOU
What’s better than sitting by a moving stream! Tim, you have a great sense of the aesthetic. The visuals and sounds that you incorporated in this Friday’s vlog were first rate. When I was in High school back in 1969 I used to watch a show called Then Came Bronson. It was about a guy who got on his motorcycle and took a perpetual ride across the country. In the opening credits, he pulls up next to a guy in a car going to work. The guy looks at him and says “Going on a trip?” Bronson looks at him, smiles and says “yes“. The guy looks back at Bronson, from his car and says “I wish I were you“. Every Tuesday and Friday morning when I watch your vlogs I feel just like that guy in the car. You had the balls to live what is just a dream for many!
Why do all your videos bring tears to my eyes. Because you are sharing all the beautiful and amazing places in this country. And your videos are amazing. I love feeling that I am there with you. And, of course, seeing you live your dream! ❤
PHENOMENAL videography, and your usual interesting and informative narration. I like how you let the pictures speak for themselves as much as you do. Thanks for sharing yet another chapter of your great adventure.
While I was really excited about the video of the park, it was really fun to see your excitement about the jerky meat. Couldn't help but laugh when you were naming them all off. Like you were pulling pieces of gold from the box. Overall happy vibe with this video. You seemed kind of down for a little while with all the delays, weather, and general hardships that come with an odyssey like yours. I truly hope you enjoy your trip as much as I have. I have said it before in another comment, you are on MY trip of a lifetime. I'm not sure, with my responsibilities (could be an excuse), if I will ever be able to go on a trip like you are. Especially not all at once, so I get a lot of joy watching your videos. Live free my man.
Thank you my friend! I am always happy and grateful to be living this dream, sometimes I get a little worn down but I'm always where I want to be. I appreciate this comment very much! Ride safe!!
Watching all these again in 2021 to amp myself up as I plan my retirement "soon" trip. Great vids still a few years later can't believe you only get 855 likes should be in the thousands.
Who the hell gives a thumbs down on a video like this? I can't see a single thing in it that is negative. I guess some people are just gonna hate no matter what. Great video Tim as always. Ride safe.
Beautful place especially when the waterfalls are roaring in May and June. If you don't have water shoes to hike to Zumwalt Meadows the ranger told me to hike from the end of the road. Maybe because the controlled burn in the meadow the campground was nearly empty. I advise you take a tent and bug spray as there are alot of squeeters 😉. Also take a flashlight if you tour the cave as a few of us hit are head.
Man, I have been thinking of hitting this for a while and was going to run up there mid next week. The water level still looks pretty high (assuming this was in the past week or so). That's pretty good news considering we've been draught stricken for so long.
Well done Tim from New Zealand. You captured the feelings of actually being there beautifully with well framed shots and was a thoroughly good watch. 'One day.......... sigh'. Ride safe my man.
WOW.. Really powerful and beautiful.. I can see going West in my future.. just need the time so I don't feel like I"m competing in the IBR! 🤣 Great video and congrats on the new sponsor! Have to give it a try..
Great video Tim. That is one of my favorite parks and drives as well. Usually there is not quite so much water coming across the falls, good to see. Glad the snow pack was better this year. Also glad to see you are getting some protein! The "Day in the life" video had you looking a little gaunt. Take care, enjoy yourself and take good care of Tim. Only one of those guys around! Regards.
FINALLY got to see this, and so glad I did... man, that’s beautiful. Nice music too... Probably one of my favorites of your videos so far. I gotta go there sometime.
Kings Canyon has very strong emotional ties with me, Grizzly Falls in particular...that segment choked me up a little =). A magnificent place. Nearly tripped over a bear at Zumwalt Meadows on one of our visits. Was there on my bike with a buddy last year. Could have ridden that road for days...
Love that slow mo waterfall footage! Thanks so much Tim(-: & meat snacks... you know the way to my heart:-) my wife & I will likely subscribe to the meat stick place!!!
Another great video Tim! Just one suggestion...at the start when you tell us where you are please include the state. Been a couple instances where I would try looking it up and get totally different states. Thanks!
Tim, I’ve been following you on RU-vid for a long time (2+years), and I’ve noticed your growth as a person, and as a “RU-vidr” blogger and videographer. You have changed and grown in a good way . --this has nothing to do with anything, but as a retired cop, I admire your passion to inspire others. Don’t stop Tim.
Sorry Steve! There is, unfortunately, more water in my next few videos... 😬 thanks my friend! Looking forward to getting over to your side of the planet some day! Ride safe 🙂
BTW, here’s what’s happening now. This story is from July: still no rain where it’s needed. ☀️😢 www.abc.net.au/news/2019-07-14/day-zero-approaching-as-towns-run-out-of-water/11271430
The waterfall was cool but where is there drone footage? You shd give these GoPro settings. Video Settings: Hero 4 Black 1.4k/60fps WB - 5500 GP color - Flat Sharpness High EV comp - minus 1
Great vid Tim. Maybe stupid but would be nice to know where Kings Canyon is without defaulting to da Google. 😀 Snacks look awesome and I will check them out.
I'm more than a month behind 😬 I'm trying to catch up on the old one so I might start posting extra videos for a while. Getting really close to the east coast. I'm in KY right now.
Hi! I want to know what I can do differently so please help me understand. The last time I did a sponsored video like this one was almost 2 months ago, that's too often? Before that it was more like 3 months in between, that's with me publishing 8 times a month, so 1 in 20+ videos on average. I get where you're coming from but these videos don't cost you anything, they cost me a lot of time and money. Once every 2 months doesn't seem unreasonable to me, I hope you will agree. I appreciate you being here, and commenting and I hope this doesn't push you away from my channel.
@@FTAAdventures Tim, product placement can work very effectively without bashing it over our heads. Your subscribers watch and scrutinize everything you do, and it would not take long for them to see what's up, a small comment about the product and that's it. You have a great channel. But some of us i am sure, don't care for the blatant selling and praise. I usually fast forward to the advertising shill. and get back to what you do best showing us the world. Sorry just my opinion.
@@markust8904 I get that, but it's just not how it works. They don't pay me to say or react in any way, they pay for time in my video and what I say about them is entirely up to me. I try to space it out as much as I can. You can always speed through that section if it bothers you, certainly not trying to bash it over anyones head. These are products that I enjoy and am naturally enthusiastic about, or else I wouldn't be working with them. Just a heads up, you might want to skip Tuesdays video. Other than that there are no brand integrations on the horizon so I hope you still come back for other videos. I really do appreciate your feed back, I am always looking for ways to improve, this is a tough one but definitely something I will keep in mind going forward. Thanks!
