Since we didn’t show at the 2019 Kentucky State Fair, we hit the Arkansas State Fair this year. It was a long and crazy trip but it was worth it! We even got to introduce some of my family to the world of showing rabbits.
I'm always so scared to record the judges because some Don't seem to appreciate it, but they have to realize they talk fast and A lot of what they say can be easily missed. You have some really nice animals.
Brie's Bunny Barn I feel judges at a fair are in an educational environment and know there are people wandering through who have no clue about rabbits. They have always been willing to answer questions but you’re right about them talking like auctioneers. I have tried writing judge’s comments on show cards before and I couldn’t keep up!
Toga Chan We just went to the show table, told which rabbit we had shown, and explained that someone had accidentally taken our ribbon and they gave us a replacement. Someone else just went home with an extra ribbon.
