Coming all this way to the town of Addo in the Eastern Cape and not visiting the Addo Elephant National Park was completely unimaginable to us. So, that is exactly what we did. There is so much life in the park. We saw kudu, zebra, warthogs, hartebeest and of course elephants. Even the dung beetles we saw were fascinating. What fantastic sightings of elephants we had, they were so close! We even saw two huge elephant bulls having a little bit of a fight and the rest of the herd running in to stop them. I don’t take chances with elephants, so made sure I kept my distance. We waited till the whole commotion was over and slowly slipped by unnoticed. Then we unfortunately had to leave this fantastic place and head to our next destination. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #addoelephantnationalpark #easterncape #elephant

You make an interesting point, we didn't even realise that they weren't eating leaves as we usually see them do. Great eye for detail! 👌🏻 They're truly magnificent antelope! 🦌 Thank you as always for watching, we appreciate that. 🚗😊

Wow! The elephants are so silent considering how bulky they are! We also suddenly saw them come out of the bushes and had to watch in wonder as they crossed over to the other side and just melt into the bushes❤

Yay you sure seem to have had the full Addo experience. There can be days when one sees very little, and even no elephants. Well done, and thankyou for sharing. I agree dont take chance's with any wild animals but I would think an elephant would be number one , loved it.

We hadn't been to the park in quite a few years when we visited this time and it was like seeing old friends again when we saw the elephants for the first time. We just love them! 😍🐘 We may just take you up on that offer, we love the US and would love to explore the country one day! Would love to see Baton Rouge and New Orleans, we've never been to either. 😁🇺🇸

Thanks for an amazing video transported to South Africa I've tried to explain what it's like to leave home for a drive and see all the wildlife in a park unless you have done it you can't explain how good it is the amount of elephants the fighting the power they have to just turn a vehicle over really enjoyed it I am so glad I found this site keep up the good work 👏

It's true that we're indeed very fortunate to get into our vehicles anytime we wish and see the most amazing wildlife up close and personal. Respect for the wildlife is key. We love sharing it with you and are so happy that you enjoy it. 😍🐘

Amazing, geogeous animals and you saw so many different ones. That was so good last I was there was many years ago, it has changed a lot since then. Those first 4 elephants were huge. Those 2 vehicles surrounded by the elephants must have been scary yet thrilling. Just loved all the different places to stay wow. Thank you so much it was amazing.

Thank you for another amazing trip you two. Even a stretch of gravel road! I haven't been there myself and never thought there would be such a variety of game in an "elephant" park. The wide choice of accommodation is also impressive. I can't wait for our next trip. Stay safe!
@DustBugsTravel
@DustBugsTravel Год назад
You know we will always squeeze gravel in, given half a chance! 😝 The variety of game is really impressive and we had abundant animal sightings. They even have lion and leopard there, but they remained hidden from our sight this time around. I hope your trip is around the corner. Until then, we'll continue to whet your appetite for the long road. 😉🚗

Yay! Elephants! My second fave animal after cheetahs.Good to see old Hapoor again. Expensive but well worth saving up for. Interresting that girl elephants have their breasts between their front legs. And ag mama! The babies are too cute. I think the herd, which seems mosty mums with babies, were more excited over the fight than scared. Perhaps a new bull trying to take over?
@DustBugsTravel
@DustBugsTravel Год назад
We love them too! 🐘❤️ I don't know elephant behaviour that well, but I think both males may have been in musth, which I believe make them more aggressive. Glad you enjoyed it with us. 😁🚗
