The first thing we saw as we entered Keimoes was green vegetation and springboks grazing on the grass. The green was complemented by the bright blue skies and the warm weather we experienced. The town was very busy on this day but we were told it was the end of the picking season so all the contract workers were paid and were doing their shopping before making their way home. Driving through Keimoes was awesome. We decided to drive up Tierberg and the view of the surrounding farmland from up there was spectacular. We almost had to spend the night in the church grounds because the automated gate was open when we entered, but closed when we wanted to leave. Fortunately the minister opened for us.
