S10 383 10 sec 

Haven't had it on the street since the converter swap. Went from 1.80 to 1.55 with a 8 inch and about 1400 rpm more stall.

Wow that's a huge jump in the 60s.I have been looking to pick one up for a while. How did the converter effect your top end? Did you trap a higher or lower MPH?

The new converter corrected an issue I had with a hesitation on the starting line. On a good day it would go in the 1.60s before the converter was swapped so it may not be such a huge jump. I may have picked up a 1/2 mph on the top end. But it definitely launches a lot harder now.

It's atleast 3 years old. I don't know if they make that model any longer and I know nothing about the new models.

I bought the heads used. The guy I bought them from had them decked, ported and polished. They worked the chambers some. He gave me a receipt from the shop who did the work. They are now 70cc chambers. 2.02 and 1.60 valves. I have a set of dual valve springs and 1.5 Howards rockers installed.

If he's in the 10's, he's somewhere between 520-550hp. He says he ran a 10.94, so I'm going to say around 510-520hp.

not even close. It’s an s10 it weighs nothing if he ran a 10.9 I wouldn’t say he makes much more than 425-450.
