It’s been a few years since it’s been out of the garage and driven. Hurricane Irma dropped a tree on my garage and nearly crushed the truck. Hope only a tranny mount and fuel line to go.
Gear driven to get the blower/supercharger whine. Sounds good. Saw your earlier post about the pan and rear end being to light. Suspension can take care of that. No reason the front end should really ever leave the ground. If needed a set of bars keep it from getting to high. Nice ride though.
I don’t know if it’s blower whine I can’t see a blower I was hoping it was when I seen the catcher but it looks like they just have it mounted on the carb there’s no pully under the carb I kind got depressed….I guess it’s a show truck after all . It could be trans whine I herd it too . Unfortunately they prolly dumped all the money into making it look cool and the line lock and tires and allat, the suspension he’s gonna need is over 1500 for sum slight if he goes all out it would be a lot . It’s a stoker powered s10 so I bet it hauls ass a blower and suspension would make this a killer rig eh? I hope it has a blower and it’s not just trans wine….
@@mccyph3r45 thats what i found out the hard way.but now after all that and thousands of money in a fast as stroker engine that cant entee daily driver slash street strip class because can not keep this bag of bolts cool. Hot as hell all time.
question i am planning to buy a stroker 388 turn key, i am not a builder but i got the right people in the right places. Now my question is this, i am not building a racer but good fun truck for weekends and still able to drive on regular basis. I have a 1988 s10 with the 2.8l v6 700r4 tranny, BOTH have been rebuild not even 7 months ago. Does a 388 stroker maid up well with the rebuild 700r4 (stock) or is there any particular fitting issues there? Thank you for any response i can get.
It’s set up to drag, transbrake and line lock kit. However, the rear is so lite… also with the lowered front end, I only have about three inches of clearance under the oil pan. It would fair well of the tire ever left the ground. Just a weekend cruiser and occasional local car show participant.
@@davemac3258 ; Have you installed Caltracks yet? when you do you can stand that truck up on the back bumper depending how you set it up. Also install one inch longer upper ball joints to get better weight transfer.
