So there are two kind of musics: 1. Syaithani's music and 2. Angel's Music And just play musics that make we nearest to Allah, Rasul and Ahlulbayt alayhimussalam

Im a muslim, Alhamdolillah. And stand up for our prophets (saw) and the ahlul bayt(pbut)...and what im listening to here is just another rightous way of pursuing the right path.. My logic says that as long as you make or listen to music that can touch the heart, soul and mind in a healthy way, then this is part of life. What about the hadiths about our prophets wedding and such? Common sense is common sense. Key word is balance.

Asalamualikum, ok so how does one have a halal wedding. I'm fairly new to Islam and need encouragement not discouragement. I mean this with all sincerity and respect.

Wa'alayka salam warahmatullah wabarakaatuhu, remove all haram from your wedding and the rest would be halal. I dont know how this is discouraging but you can take it in a positive way and learn from it just like I did. ❤️

If it matches gatherings of lahw o la'ab (concerts etc) then only. In that case too it can vary person to person (one can consider it matching to it and othet does not). Consult your jurist or local scholar for guidance 🙂

What do you think, 1. Type of music is music that is Qina I.E vain talk I.E that makes u want to get up and dance 2. Music that does not make u want to get up and dance or not qina, Islamic pulse 2 has a video on this Music, has two dimensions relaxing and mellow music that’s does not make people want to intoxicate/party And music that is just background noise that does not encourage intoxication and or partying Please respond, in great depth

Salaam Alaikum. It is better to consult your jurist (faqih) for this. The basic principle is music that matches that of lahw o la'ab.

There is a great video on this subject by Sayed Ammar Nakshawani, just look up “Nakshawani music” on RU-vid. He separates the categories into hedonistic noise like disco tunes, versus pleasant sound such as classical/piano music etc. The first is forbidden for obvious reasons, but the second one is not harmful if consumed for the right reasons

I'm aligned what has been said but please incorporate Quran, ahadeeth or sayings. If we need to teach the next generation we need to make them understand what the origin is of music why it is Haram, we need to be able to explain with sources.

I know that for music if you could avoid it than leave and avoid it. But for the other two I can’t give you a answer because I’m not sure

If it is a chance for falling into sin (forbidden glance), our jurists have made it impermissible to attend such gathering. Similarly, in case your presence gives encouragement to the organizer then also it is in some cases impermissible. Please consult your jurist or local scholar for more details 🙂🙏🏼

Alaikum Salaam. According to traditions of Imam Sadiq, music causes hypocrisy and shamelessness. Though at the end of the day. It is the command of Allah to stay away from Lahw o La'ab. And should be enough for us Muslims :)

It starts from finding the right path. If you feel Islam is the right ideology then only it becomes obligated on you to follow Allah's commands. There is no compulsion that you have to follow this path only :)
