Any straight man wants female attention and it's in our biology to try and achieve that, sometimes by trying to be a jock, sometimes by just trying to be kind. Call s1mple a simp is funny because it's in his name, but when people are serious about it it's becomes a problem because this implies that any sort of desire for female attention is inherently simp behaviour, which is obviously known as a bad thing (simping), and thus discourages men from following basic biological instincts
