he had the knife out in lower tuns as he walked to cat. i think he saw nitro walk through and his back was turned, and since he already had the knife out, kind of just went for it on instinct. i don't really blame him for the split second decision, but it was just not good trigger discipline, since he could have just taken out his awp and just shot nitro in the back. still sucks that his team lost a 1v2 to a player with 17 hp in an awp retake on d2 A.
Yeh big mistake from s1mple, but 42 kills on the first map.... if his teammates were better, nobody would have said a thing about the failed knife attempt.
@@user-qt4dc5lc7u the last shot from nitro was lucky.. but s1mple could have ended it there 100%. And Everybody makes mistakes and you just learn from them.
After the game, in Navi's locker room, the team brought s1mple an icepack for his back instead of scolding him because they know they can't say shit for being so heavy.
S1mple dropping over 40 frags and left nitr0 10hp 2v1 with an awp. This only proves how much s1mple is doing for team navi and without s1mple theyre nothing. #s1mpledeservesbetter
Lol found a s1mple fanboy it was his fault and he dropped 40 frags in overtime i mean he should atleast be top fragging when hes makes that mistake that cost them the game
Perseus The Great if his team didn’t suck ass the game still would have been over. He had 17 hp. You cajole have whispered in his ear and he would have died
Stop talking about this match like it's fucking MM. Being the fragger is literally his role in the team, of course he will topfrag. He threw the match, simple as that.
@@youthinky0uknowme You shouldn't say stupid shit like that, if you don't actually fact check yourself before saying it. S1mple have top fragged every map Navi have played this tournament, and for the series in this video, he top fragged not only compared to his team, but everyone. 84-60 S1mple, with his closest teammate, 59-64 electronic, and with the closest in the server, 77-63 EliGE. Can't blame the guy for losing one round, when he's the reason they're even close to winning...
Think about it, doublty the best player in the world decided to knife a player on the last round when he couldn’t see him, when you only really knife for money, if he killed him it would of been the end of the game so the money wouldn’t matter, the only reason he did that is to have some swag, disappointed in him tbh.
He wanted to let Liquid know he thinks his team is better with the knife kill which was greedy. I still like simple though just cause you can’t hate a player that good
Pinkpoop 12 depends if Valve sponsors it. This year as well as the last few they have not, meaning it isn’t an official valve major. IEM Katowice wasn’t always a major either however valve sponsored it this year which made it a major.
@@sebass145 Wtf did u just said? Katowice was 2 times major events back in 2014 and 2015 But back then they use the name esl katowice not iem katowice But all of them sponsored by the same organization,ESL What do u mean katowice was never a major?
@@patrickdahl3535 and? The kill that they need the most he fucked up. This is not mm. If you have the opportunity to close the game you need to do it and not joke around. That was the easiest kill of those 42
As a professional on LAN at a major event competing against the number 1 ranked team in the world in a best of 3 series on match point in a 3v1 bomb planted with everyone in the proper spots there’s literally no excuse to go for that knife kill unless the bomb timer is to low for him to reach and the round is 100% secured. In that scenario where s1mple hears him running through DD the odds of nitro winning the round were .1% so 1/1000 times he would win that round. After killing simple the odds of him winning that round are still incredibly low with only 17hp and on Xbox with bomb timer even lower. But since simple did what he did the odds shifted from .1% to about 5% meaning 1 in 20 times he will win that clutch. Well that’s cs...a game of calculating odds... why do you think teams save in certain situations instead of going for the retake on a site? Because they know the odds of them winning that round are too low to risk the weapons. Why do teams get aggressive when they are down numbers because they know in order to sway the odds into their favor they need to balance out the percentage somehow. Basically what I’m saying is if you’re the best player on the team and the planet and you’re main goal is winning you should always be leading by example and trying your best to win even if the odds are extremely low or high. This would be like lebron KD or Kawhi going for a self alley oop in a playoff game when there’s only a few seconds left and they are up by 3 and then missing it and then the other team makes a full court shot and gets it to overtime. Well there’s your 1/1000 scenario that should’ve never happened. And you fools saying simple carried and needs a better team well Even if they had 50 points that game they would be scrutinized for “throwing the game”. So you guys trying to blame the players in the 2v1 need to realize it should of NEVER gotten to that situation period. I don’t bet on games personally but the fact that people could’ve lost major money because simple wants to show off in a professional match is unacceptable because knowing his track record there’s no chance he would take accountability and instead blame the others for losing the 2v1 like some of you guys. Edward has been a professional since simple was in diapers and never pulled any of that bullshit as far as I can remember and always tried his best to win. Yet they cut him because they are trying to get better and win more. This is exactly why simple will never win a major until he decides to change his mentality. The best players to win major championships make their teammates better and encourage them by one single play he demoralized his own team and shifted the momentum completely but yet most of you defend him crazy...
@@redx210 Just watch any navi's match Zeus's crosshair replacement always bad compare to other pro players Mostly because he will put his crosshair not in head level but lower and sometime higher And his movement also really bad sometimes
This > After the game, in Navi's locker room, the team brought s1mple an icepack for his back instead of scolding him because they know they can't say shit for being so heavy.
One mistake S1mple and you started to drown him! So you support this person so much and cheer for NAVI, let's support the guys and Simpl as well, LIFT THE SHIELD FOR NAVI AND FOR S1MPLE! S1MPLE BEST IN THE WORLD! AND THIS IS NOT Indisputable!
Anybody else depressed to see what ESL Cologne has become... I mean shit 3 years ago it was in a huge sold out stadium, now, its them lanning no crowd in a god damn hotel venue.
Everyone blaming s1mple but no one talking about that s1mple left nitro on 17 hp to retake on A without any molly or smoke but their noob teammate also have a contract in free skins
That feeling when Na'Vi uses s1mple as their star player aka fragger and play around him but still people are mad for the guys who help s1mple get kills. And the knife, that was s1mples fault only. I mean i dont hate s1 he played great and so did Na'Vi challenging #1 team and winning Mouz
@@jacksonb9268 No, that round was only s1. low hp 1v2 with awp is possible to win, hard but not even close to impossible. Dont blame electronic/boombl4 for that round, blame s1mple and prop nitr0
S1mple is godlike player you know :). He is carrying his team most of time, but this sort of mistake is unforgivable! Even tho he is the reason they were winning. I dont know how you defend s1mple . He is monster but he has some lowlights which left him without major
@@d.lutmygmar There's only 2 way he can be CT/a short,he cant move through a long because it will take so much time especially consider 2 vs 1 option + bomb time The fact that Boom waiting and jumping around in bomb site, that's fucking stupid decision He can just hiding and guarding a short, while electronic guarding ct
Fluffytacos234 You’re stupid if you think it’s s1mples fault he believed in his team to kill a guy that had 17hp but hey you won’t understand cause you’re trash and don’t have the in game iq like S1mple rather then judging him think about the fact that he did more damage with the knife then both of his teammates against the same person
