Those were some amazing vehicles. Daddy’s little girl I’d say. Man hold on to that as long as you can. Both my girls are all grown up and I miss the hugs and being the number one man in their lives. Safe travels guys. Cheers!!!
Nice Chanel ... Realize now that I don't need visit visa to see all of the America ... I can watch it all because of your RU-vid Chanel ... Great work ... Muhammad Uzair Javaid 🇵🇰
Great to see the two IH Scout IIs fixed up and built! Had one of those in the 70s, and overlanded across the west, Canada, Alaska, before it was called that. Sleeping in the back, on the ground, canvas tent.🏕
Agreed! I had to rewind when I seen them too. my earliest childhood travelling memories were in the back of my parents Scout. And yep.. I remember sleeping in the back of it because the weather was just too nasty for the old canvas rag we called a tent.
I can't even explain how much you guys motivate me. Still working on my F150 rig, but it will be done soon. Even as is I'm all over Germany, Sweden and Norway in very remote spots. I love your tips and recommendations.
Enjoyed seeing this! I had the pleasure of meeting you at Expo West and getting an in-person update on what you had been doing up until that point. Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to since then. What a coincidence that your Expo West episode aired while you’re setting up at Expo East!
Hello, been following you guys since the start, just curious if your going to make a shirt with the big logo on the back and the same logo smaller in the front on the top left where you would normally have a pocket. Been waiting to see you guys make one so I can purchase and support. "No big deal" just figured I would ask. Love the video!
Great video. I'm curious how you decided on a 4Runner vs a Land Cruiser 100 at the start of your overlanding journey? I ask as I'm struggling deciding between these 2 vehicles for an overlanding vehicle.
Sadly I have a job, house, and family so can't do these extended trips... getting there slowly with my 2016 tacoma.. but since the overland/offroading scene has exploded, so have the prices... for everything!!!!
Tell me about it. Some of us stuck in full time jobs cannot do this. Also, prices of overland gears have gone crazy. And then there are so many things considered as "required" for overlandong that people never get to use but just put them on their rig. I say forget about all those ridiculous prices. Go simple! And you can do everything people with sophisticated rugs do. Besides, you probably have more fun going old school than having the most luxurious roof top or camper out in the wild. When in the wild, why not try to be wild? Why still enjoy full amenities as if you are at home? So, it is ok if you go like a minimalist. Let us not let these crazy prices of things make us feel we have to put $5,000 or more of accessories on our rugs before we can go have fun off grid. Just equip your car the way you can and tackle trails your rig can. Enjoy.
Another great video, what do you think based on your experience is better for off-road? A center locking differential like in the modern landcruisers or a rear locker like your 4Runner?
Smokey Bear would be proud of little Caroline. To all the Toyota haters, we don't Just Empty Every Pocket. 😂 J/K everything has a pro and con. Toyota has the TRD Pro. 😂 sorry can't help it.
You should be the right man to ask, I was wondering how do you deal with condensation inside the rooftop tent? a few days ago my wife and i took a trip, they were saying the temp was gonna fall that night so i closed the tent up tight. closed all of the window flaps. we never did get cold but it was so wet in there we had to wait hours to get back on the road. any help would be nice!!! thanks man! love the videos and yall be safe.
Literally any time i camp I use ear plugs. Even in my family travel trailer or in my tent in the middle of no where. Cuts the animal sounds, wind, everything. Don’t use the orange ones they are trash even though I have like 30 sets everywhere for emergency’s. The e.a.r brand yellow ones are the best. Harder yellow foam one actually stay in my ears when I toss and turn
There are 3 ski resorts in the state. I have seen as much as 5 feet of snow in the high country. I lived South of Flagstaff for sometime and one year I had 4 feet of snow in my yard on April 1st (no jock)
It didn't look like he didn't have the center diff lock engaged so atrac spins one tire at a time which is what I think I saw before they switched to crawl control.
