In this episode, we wash the old call up. She had been sitting outside in a filed for a few years and some of that dirt was caked in there.
We used soft Bristol scrub brushes to avoid scratching the paint. Dave also tried to buff the paint job, but the layer of paint was so thin that the gold started to come off. We decided to leave the matte gold look for now, but eventually want to get a new two-toned paint job like the original paint color.
