Me too!!! I’m hoping this CEL isn’t going to delay my track day coming up. I guess I’ll have to run the Shelby if that happens!

I've daily driven my s2000 for 7 years /105k miles - 144k total. I've had $27,000 in repairs and 2-3k in maintenance, and surprisingly.... I'm not mad. It's one of the best cars ever made, but I will have to sell soon, as I drive 60-120 miles per day with work appointments.

We have very similar cars. Mine is an 03 with 140k and was bone stock. Did the TCT like you, air filter, fluids, and just ordered some RS4 hankooks to go on the stock tires so I can get back on track. Not too too far from you in Greenville SC

Not sure if I missed it, I heard you talk about figuring out the check engine light, but have you got a code reader and actually checked the code it was giving?

It’s throwing codes for random misfires at idle. I have a few things I’m going to try, if I can’t figure it out bakerbuilt is going to do some head work as it might be a valve seal issue.

Since you're driving a AP1 make sure you keep an eye on that oil level

Yeah they both are really cool and knowledgeable! Apparently I need to learn more about Supras, I just never see them on track so they haven’t been on my radar.

@@TheAllAmericanDriver I’ve taken mine to Homestead Raceway in Miami and The FIRM in Starke, FL. It’s completely stock and NA. Turn in is great but has tons of body roll. Gonna make some suspension changes in the future but I’m still getting to know the car. I plan to do more track days with it soon.

it feels so good to have your car refreshed. my advice is cleaning the injectors. that fixed all my misfires and check engine lights that i could not pinpoint. i also regreased my driveshaft which had 20 year old grease. it is crazy how you get to feel your cars rejuvenation just from driving it. anyway, awesome series, great channel. new subbed and liked 👍

First off, thanks for subscribing and welcome to the channel!! Yes we did check the injectors (it's in the New Track Wheels video). I'll look into greasing the driveshaft!
