Thank you so much Shane for the positive feedback! Our goals for our videos is always to get to the point and break it down to make it as simple and clear as possible. Glad to hear were executing it well!
you make it look easy reaching the connector and removing it lol. I tried and failed many times. Got my wife who is tiny to get under the dash and she couldn't get it either. Why couldn't Honda put the clutch sensor where the cruise control sensor is.
yes, it is a tight squeeze up there, but you can use actual de-pinning tools if you decide to de-pin the wires from the connector. I just used a piece of wire to jump the terminals.
I used a dental pick that had a 90 degree bend at the tip, laid under there and used the tip of the dental pick to push in the release on the connector and pull.
LOL people in the comments can't even get to a switch... what's going to happen when they need to replace their clutch master cylinder? FYI nothing against this mod, but if you can't remove a simple clutch peddle maybe modding isn't for you.
the sensor tells the car the clutch is pressed in. the bypass is to show the car its pressed in at all times. no need to press clutch to start the car. there is a plastic grommet on the pedal which presses on the switch. it breaks over time and this is the easier fix instead of changing the grommet which would require taking the whole clutch assembly off.
