Thanks for this, just realized the $1k in labor I paid to have my shop determine an (under warranty) issue was worth every penny. No doubt there are harder engines to work on, but this looks like a tough nut to do it right.
@@CameronsCars Being a new factory head the valve guides are new as well, I did opt to purchase new OEM valves instead of using the old ones. I had found a good deal on this head that I couldn't pass up. I had work done to the original head I removed a year prior, but the machine shop failed to notice it needed more work which resulted in me having to take the engine apart again.
@@SitnClutch Can you elaborate on how the head needed more work? I'm in the process of pulling my head to have it checked (hopefully not needing any milling), get a valve job, Magnafluxed, and I want to be sure I get this right.
