Can't believe the S2000 got hit.. Could've easily been a hit and run but luckily @henrytr987 was there when it happened. What would you guys have done?.. Illiminate Merch! www.illiminateapparel.com
Joe Smith nahhh bro his parents didn’t leave him. He took his own responsibilities into his own hands along with his brother so that his parents weren’t as stressed. If that isn’t a good son....idk what is.
Always call the police, make a police report, call your own insurance. It'll go under uninsured driver coverage. Not worth the trouble of trying to argue with stupid. People have to learn consequence.
@Gabe m 100% not true. someone hit my Wifes car in a parking lot and took off. It went under as no-fault accident and the premium didn't go up. Insurance companies want your business as much as possible now and will work to keep you...She even had an at fault accident a few months later and our premium still didnt go up.
Nothing wrong with being assertive with what you worked hard for Randy! I understand his situation about money, but he should meet you half way. Gotta take responsibility for what you've done no matter what.
Dustin Williams damn bro im still mad at the driver who almost ruined your beautiful car. But im glad it was parked and you were not in the drivers seat bro.
Yo Randy I'm an insurance adjuster. ALWAYS call the police. That guy is gonna turn around and piece out. You're gonna call the insurance company later and you're not gonna have a police report and the police are not gonna do anything. I'm 10000% sure that guy does not have the money to fix your car.
This dude got some heart not calling the cops I mean cool guy not many people but the other mexican dude sketchy af and hes probly not gonna pay to fix it
There's no way I'd be paying for those damages out of pocket, regardless of the other person's situation. I have to work hard for my money, and I'm not about to lose a bunch of it because someone else doesn't know how to drive.
My wife yelling at the screen call the cops lol. Your doing the right thing by giving him time to come up with the money but if all else false the cops will need to get involved.
problem is if he doesn't some up with the money and you decide to call the insurance to file a claim...they are gonna ask for the police report. because he didn't call the police and no report was made insurance is gonna say "sorry!"
I would have called the cops cuz it is obvious this guy did not want to pay for these damages. He could have said “give me some time and Ill try to gather some money” but he blatantly said “call the cops” which means he is not trying to pay a dime, and most likely he wont. I say dont let too much time pass and file a report.
I agree with most of what you said, but he DID say he would pay him back when he does get some money next month or whatever. But yeah super sketch I wouldn’t give it time.
*Nah, the whole point is that this looks good on camera and hence, views. It's a story. If he just called the cops like what he should have done, there's no drama, no video content, no views, no cash.*
Ay, shit happens ya know. Everybody does stupid shit every once in a while. Thing is, if you fuck up you gotta fix it. This guy didn't seem to understand that...
I was going 45km/hr on a pretty steep and icy hill in my A4 B8 and hit a parked car. Nobody ever goes through there in Canadian snow but I'm 18 and not as experienced lol
Everyone saying randy you should’ve called the cops blah blah I mean yea he’d be in jail but what’s the point on getting him in deeper problems if he’s barely making it through with life and I also appreciate that randy was so calm and friendly in the situation and well it’s amazing how you randy my friend aren’t like other people who will take advantage of the situation and say yea imma need this amount for the repairs but no instead you told him imma take it in to a repair shop I know etc and well it’s true people need to be more careful when driving if they don’t have insurance and another thing that was also nice of randy was covering the man’s face because RU-vid truly looks in depth on all the videos youtubers post and well if the guys face wasn’t covered for sure they would probably take action since the guy admitted to a “crime” of not having insurance and hitting a car too yea we the subscribers know the guys name but not his face
Solo Boy I assure you man, if given the possibility, the guy probably would have left with no remorse. Randy was way too nice, and I respect him for that for sure, but you gotta face reality. It’s a cruel world out there and the matter of fact is, he shouldn’t have been driving. I park all the way in the back of lots and make sure I leave a lot room so people don’t ding my FR-S yet someone managed to smash my rear-bumper. No note, nothing. Infuriating.
Solo Boy- Randys bro told him in the beginning the dude was gonna dip but they stopped him, The insurance company cant insure anyone without a Drivers license let alone in this matter someone without a green card possibly. This dude knew he cant afford insurance that was a escape plan unfortunately for him they all seem to live in the same area.
So what happened with this? I understand the way you reacted was also a good idea but their was soo much room and he could have easily avoided hitting the S2k. He's a grown man, he needs to deal with his consequences.
honestly, calling the cops for non-insured accidents is the right thing. only reason i say this is because i was involved with a 17 year old side swipping my door last year and his dad had the audacity telling insurance his son wasn't the one who hit my car. nowadays, anyone can lie and for that, i always tell people to invest a dash cam. a 90.00 investment can save you from all these insurance haggles
The guy doesn't have the money on hand to pay for damages, much less damages AND a ticket. If it can get taken care of without having to call the cops and getting anyone in trouble, then why would you call 'em? The police have better things to do than show up for a fender bender. Randy did a good job handling the situation.
Carlitos Ramos so idk how it is in cali but when someone hit my parked truck here in arizona I found out the guy that hit me made him come to the scene with that truck he hit mine with and called the cops. They didnt give him a ticket but wrote up a agreement where if he didnt pay for it he had to buy my car from me for whatever price I wanted legally
When a person driving around and does not have insurance. call a cop right away. No but about it. In America everything need to be document and report otherwise can't prove it in court. Sorry not to be racist but you all know that most Mexican don't have insurance. No matter if you live in Cali,Texas,or Florida...seeing it before that just reality.
@@slowb9 yeaa about that, it cuts STRAIGHT to the damage part. Good luck with that. It's fake. The offender is laughing at several times through the video. RU-vid is money, your ignorance is his bliss.
Guy was full of it, he has no job and no insurance but can afford to drive a car? I don’t know how you stayed so calm if someone hit my car I’d be so mad. You should’ve called the cops. He said he doesn’t have money but he’s gonna pay for some of it but not all of it lmao that’s logic
You're being way too nice, if he can't afford insurance to drive on the street legally, he should not be driving. Driving is a privilege so if you dont have the means, stay off the road. What would he have done if he ran over a kid?
jessie thomson you're dumb my guy, if you hit a parked car you can't drive. So if I kid runs out in front of him how is he gonna handle that. When he can't avoid a parked vehicle lol
Driving w/o insurance is ILLEGAL. If he doesnt have a job, doesnt have insurance, he shouldnt be driving. Thats it. He has to face the consequences for his mistake, simple as that. I wouldve called the police. Imagine if he got in to a worse accident and doesnt have insurance? Couldve hurt someone or further damaged property... tsk tsk At least he gave you his info and was willing to talk.
He said he doesn't have a job or have money sorry but I would have called police and insurance right away it'll be more of a headache to try to get him to pay later....
Bryan Escober wouldn’t matter because Randy’s insurance would pay for it to be repaired and the insurance would be going through the headache of getting the uninsured to pay for their portion of the damages. Randy doesn’t have anything to worry about, his car will get repaired one way or another.
i would say you couldn't of handled it better in my opinion hopefully you get the money because its not just damage he's done he's also wasted the time you originally spent on the car because he's damaged it got my fingers crossed for you
I work for a body shop and here's the break down of what could have and what could happen. 1. Calling the cop DOESN'T mean the guy goes to jail. 2. The guy gets a ticket for driving without insurance, license etc. 3. The cops will only tell you to take it to small claims court and the guy will literally pay you like 10$ a month for the damages you have to pay out of pocket. 4. I respect Randy's decision to give him 2 weeks to come up with at least half the money because he won't get it paid through small claims court. 5. If the guy doesn't come up with some money check your own insurance (I'm sure Randy has full coverage) to see if you're covered against uninsured motorists or just claim it as hit and run since you have his information such as license plate and everything regardless Any questions just feel free to ask :)
Hey bossss you were extreamly chill regarding the collision situation I do believe he should cover the cost of repairs he should also have insurance lol
Look it's simple and common sense!!!! If you are going to be driving a car on the street and you don't have insurance you have to be responsible out of pocket!!!! Your if he can't afford insurance then don't drive get a moped. People that don't take there responsibilities serious make it a problem for the responsibile people and put more of a burden on everyone but themselves.. he more than likely is going to be a looser and not try to help. I understand people are less fortunate but what will happen if he has a crash on the highway and hits a family and seriously hurts them and they need major medical treatment we will end up taking on the cost. If I was you I would not cut him no slack or at least make him think that it may just make him realize he should make a way to get insurance and take some personal responsibility and become a good citizen.
Michael Pierce I was about to comment the same exact thing man. I was in the same situation and I let that person go but we had a payment plan set up. And guess what nothing ever happend. I ate the cost because of my insurance and a week later the same guy totaled another car with a family in it. Yep i felt bad then that's when the cops got involved, I could have prevented it. So then and he went to jail, got out never showed up to court, has a warrant, then come to find out the guy became homeless and living at a shelter and then after disappeared. Cops couldn't find him anymore or me..
You’re a really good dude man. Mad respect for you. You know life ain’t easy and you know how hard life can be, but you don’t let that interfere your motivation of grinding. You just deal with the consequences and learn off of them to become a better person.
Not gonna lie shout out to you for not cursing the man out and being nice and not calling the cops on him and its hard not being mad when you put hard work to get your s2k where it is but man cleanest s2k hands down !
Dawg I have never seen you so serious before and even after all that you were way too nice. I can tell you wanted to punch him when he was laughing. You are such a great person man..
tbh man you treated an adult like a kid. He is obviously older than you and should have his life together by now. and yea blah blah people have problems and hardships but he is a grown adult and must face the consequences right?
He is not treating him as a kid, he is treating him fairly, or even better than he should've been treated. What is seen is him treating a "grown adult" (as you said) who is not mature, unprepared, and irresponsible.
